So are we suppose to use PAM or DATA for internet tethering so that sprint wont charge?

Hey all. I tried searching this forum but couldn't find an answer. Is there a way for me to get back the skinny signal bars?

Edit this in your registry:

HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\CDMA\SignalS trengthLevel

5 = Telus Thick bars
7= Sprint Skinny Bars

There's also a cab by lllboredlll that you might be able to find by searching ppcgeeks that changes it to 7.

DATA would be what you want to be on the safe side, though who knows if Sprint can tell if it's set to PAM or not.

I can't connect to the internet with this rom. There is a problem with dialing 777 and then after spending 2 hours with tech support (advanced TS) they want me to hard reset.

Is there any way I can keep this rom and still connect to the internet? Yes I searched, yes I attempted to do some reading but it's like 500+ pages. Any help/links are greatly apprecuated,

if you hard reset the phone, in under 10 minutes you should be up and running again. if you still don't have data, flash the shipped rom of your carrier, then back to Mighty 4.8, hard reset one more time.

hey guys, just an update on battery life since I have been running this rom for a couple days. Charged the phone at work to 100% at 4:30pm, with moderate usage, couple calls, 4 or so data sessions, active sync set to every 30 minutes till 6pm, and from 6pm till now on "as items arrive", some opera mini time, it is still above 80%. so 5 hours. I would say that the battery life is good considering active sync is running all the time and I'm in my house with half signal since 6:30.

update: phone has been on all night, same usage still at 50% at 10am. so 17.5hrs and 50% battery still left. Nothing is wrong with the battery life on this rom.
