Re: | February 10th, 2009 | . | M i g h t y R O M 4.4.5 | . | BLACKOUT | . | 20764-UC

Upgraded from 4.2 to 4.4.5. What I noticed:

- Signal strength seems to be all over the place, using Telus radio was getting 2/3 bars at work now going between 0/2 (sometimes shooting up to 5). Dunno if this will have a call impact, just watching it here at my desk bounce around.

- FlipIT does work for me, saw a comment a few pages back saying it didnt work. No problems here.

- The midnight blue CAB looks great loaded on the ROM.

- Black keyboard - As I use the Full Qwery this won't have an impact on me, but would be awesome if all keyboards could be black in the future.

Thanks Mighty and Rico for all the hard work!

I am surprised nobody has complained about the lack of a fuchsia theme; it's an obvious oversight.

(I'm being sarcastic, of course!)

Thanks again Mike & Rico, you guys are the best. And I'm still awaiting "donation" buttons!!!

I really want all the KB's black too... If it only were that simple Mighty and myself are looking into it...

Oh I am sure it is not simple. You guys have gone above and beyond what I had expected in a custom ROM when I first got this phone. Believe me, I am 100% satisfied with the way the ROM is now. Every update it just keeps getting better and better above and beyond what I would expect. Keep up great work!

MIGHTYMIKE - you did it again! Love this new rom - thank you MM and LiL Rico for your hard work. One problem i've noticed so far:

When I open up YouTube and click history, my youtube freezes and then i exit out of youtube - cannot open it again. I'm going to hard reset and report back. Anybody else have this problem?

Thanks

M

one thing i noticed after going through the welcome/setup screen is that it works a lot better if you using your stylus to align the screen. I did it originally and then the next time I did it with my fingers and found the stylus didn't work great and the whole alignment was off. Did a hard reset and aligned with stylus and it works perfect again
