Re: How To: Kitchens

when I imported a cab file (resco file exploer) and ran OEMizer. it created a new OEM folder at the same level as "Diamond Kitchen" folder, not inside.

within this OEM, there is anther folder "zzzzzOptional_Personal" which contains all Resco installation files.

should I move this "zzzzzOptional_Personal" into the orignal OEM folder inside "Diamond Kitchen" folder?

under OEM Info, there is a check box "use fffff in GUID" what are these "fffff" for? do I need those.

thanks

Re: How To: Kitchens

after adding one cab app, I want to add a file which got nothing to do with the cab I just added. Do I need to close OEMizer and reopen it? or I just click on "new GUID" which still have files/reg from the previous cab.

Re: How To: Kitchens

Thanks for the tutorial. I've been using the kitchen, and I've been pretty happy with it. I've made a couple custom oems for installing my programs and registry settings, so I don't have to do much when I update, which was my main problem when updating roms.

Might want to check which programs you checked to install... I had that happen, then I rebuilt a rom with mHub and it worked... (also have HTC streaming media)

Well, I just replaced the youtube oem package with a slightly older version, and built the rom just the same and had no errors.

Re: How To: Kitchens

Thanks again for the great kitchen!

Quick question, how can I change the ROM Date and Version descriptions that are listed under Device Information with this kitchen? I've searched and found old posts from toby and ghetto on how to do this with previous versions of the kitchen, but one of the 2 places to edit i cannot locate.

Is it just a simple HKLM key in an RGU file that I am overlooking?
