Re: How To: Kitchens

Reg Edits were converted to a provxml file for the most part.

Edit with the xml editor of your choice, or even notepad. The settings should be near the top!

Thanks for the tip, but can you throw me another one? Searching all of the provxml, rgu, and xml files in this kitchen, I do not see where GF.TC Kitchen or the ROM Date of 7/21/08 is defined.

Cheers!

Re: How To: Kitchens

Rom Date I don't know.... ROM version:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM]
"ROMVersion"="GF TC Kitchen"

You can try to change it....

Re: How To: Kitchens

Thanks. I found that one a long time ago, but that isnt where Device Information gets its data. However, the key above did have the value of GF.TC Kitchen, but changing it has no impact on Device Information. Not sure what uses that key...

You have supplied details in the past on how to do this with your older kitchens. The newer ones are built differently, so the steps to change these parameters no longer apply. Are these parameters being defined somewhere in the executable now, whereas before the kitchen was just a bunch of batch files?

I'm getting the sense that you guys dont want these settings to be changed? if thats the case, please just say so, no worries.

Re: How To: Kitchens

The exec simply runs the batch, I have not hidden any secret settings in the exe I built.

Re: How To: Kitchens

Hi Guys,

first of all, =D> for all of those who created this kitchen.

my issue is that when i create a custom rom using your OEM and SYS, i tried with 1.06a and 1.06b and SYS SYS_20755 0930081110 , my camera doesn't work at all? is this a known issue?

Re: How To: Kitchens

^^I've got the same issue. Camera won't start with a "not signed or trusted certificate" error.

Can't play YouTube video nor Sprint TV channels on my first try building but I have an idea how to solve those. I'm really liking the rest of the kitchen though. Great work guys!!

Any tips on what could be causing the camera app issue?
