I agree that this rom quicky locks onto satellites without having to "prime" the internal gps. Those other tools may be of some help but I've not had to use them.

Re: [DELAYED] WDM's 2D Diamond ROM

I know the proper registry settings have been posted in here to avoid having audio manager shutdown issues, can anyone repost them? I tried looking at my registry to change them whent hey were posted but it looked like my values were set higher than them. SHould they be lowered or are high settings for cache and what not preferable?

No need, it's already built into the ROM.

How do I change the reg key for the planner cache?

Location to OFF = No GPS

I use MemMaid for all my reg edits.

I am not having any luck, but I am in a big metal building. I'll try it later when I am outside.

My GPS isn't picking up any satellites - i used QuickGPS to find my location but GooGle Maps isn't finding any satellites so i can't use it. Can anybody help me?

Go to Start-Settings-Personal-Phone-Services, make sure Location Setting is set to ON

Go to Start-Settings-System-External GPS-Programs, make sure its set to comm 4, check under hardware, GPS hardware port should say NONE, Baud rate 4800

Try that first, if no help read below

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36639

I had the same issue, did your GPS work OK on the Telus ROM. P.S make sure you do a hard reset after you flash the J2.1 ROM

Its in OEM format to be cooked in - Might be worth a look and see if you and friends can get this cooked in and working

I saw that post too. After reading through it early this morning, it does not seem to want to play nice with our Vogues. Just newer HTC models. Bummer...

Heck, going back and re-reading the whole thread, it looks like this camera is barely working at all even with some newer devices. Looks like it's a non starter. Sorry.

Turn off word completion under the "word completion" tab, and under the "options" tab under the "input method" tab.
