Also my question. I thought there was plenty of RAM to go around on the Diamond, especially since it speeds things up so much.

could u tell me or direct me to where i can learn how to change the pagepool? i dont know how to do this and i have been flashing and playing with windows mobile for years. jus never sat down to learn it. and i cant find it anywhere in this forum

Re: [DELAYED] WDM's 2D Diamond ROM

I have the location setting on. Do I need to change any of the settings in the HTC GPS manager, windows external GPS manager, or anything else? Do I leave the GPS setting in Google maps to allow windows to manage GPS?

I just noticed that your with sprint. make sure you use the sprint rom. It should be on the first page of this thread

I'm not at my computer, but im pretty sure that once you unzip the file. You should see a folder that says RUU. Click on the icon that says RomUpdateUtility

Sorry for the typeo in the last post (RRU)

Re: [09/22/08] Juicy ROM 2.1 [TELUS & SPRINT]

I'm trying to get better battery life:

If I disable Location Setting, can I still use Google Maps?
How do I disable Light Sensor? ---> Got it. It's in Settings > System > Power > Auto adjust back light
How do I change the reg key for the planner cache?

Be sure to set your gps program port to com 4 under the External GPS connections settings. You realy shouldn't have to adjust anything else. If using Google Maps, be sure to check the "use gps" choice in the menu. In Live Search, check "center on gps." Hope this helps!
