Installed juicy 2.2, initial impressions are that my reception is much better, i get 2 bars in my basement now where as before i had between 1 and zero, but never 2. Not sure about battery yet but will post when i know more

Update: so far it seems the battery has not improved at all . After i installed the battery was at 70%, i watched a two minute youtube video over evdo with 3 bars and it dropped to 55%...any ideas anyone?

i want to know if by removing opal volum control, is that going to fix the control issue?

Please make sure to give a short out and a thanks to nswenson as well - without his post I would have still been digging and digging about in the registry

As for the ActiveSync issue - I am not nor have had an issue worth noticing about it and truthfully Im not concerned with AS running in the background personally - the battery life on my OEM and Stock Replacement batteries have been fantastic so far on mine as well as the devices Ive flashed and support at work on this ROM, one guys at work had to charge his every 6 hours or less and with this ROM he is reporting 24+ hours before plugging in (very light user though) .... BUT I did notice in searching there is ALOT of calls to activesync via bluetooth, IR, etc and am currently checcking those out as well to determine the settings and what needs to be and what doesnt need to be there as it would make logical sence that since activesync is polling syncable hardware and possibly attempting to sync through it and not finding anything so just sitting and polling on the occasional attempt now and then, disabling those may allow for a more power/bandwidth friendly ROM - Ill update any info I find if anyone else cares to dig about and help it would be GREATLY appreciated as well

WHICH control issue are you referring to? many have been mentioned with volume control and it helps knowing if you are referring to the in-call issue or system/audio player issue

I have everything fixed.....EVERYTHING, except idk about the Data Connection problem, or the crashing of the touchflo 2D, neither happen to me so I can't evaluate it
