Can't seem to sync the phone to upgrade to 1.3 Any tips?

Firstly reboot the PC and then attach the phone and try again - strange I know but Ive had to do that with most OEM and Custom ROMs

I tried rebooting my PC and the phone several times, also tried changing USB ports, and restarting WMDC several times. The phone will just not communicate with vista

So when I go to write a text message, and I go to landscape mode, right when it gets into landscape, it kicks me back into portrait and then it closes the text message altogether

Ok, youve checked the sync settings enabling your USB, device manager and also checked USB is OK and no errors

are you on Vista as Admin or guest/power user - grant yourself (your logon) admin rights or signon as admin and see if it connects right away

hard to say without more info, like I said, I run Vista X64 and usually a reboot does it for me when/if I have an issue with synching

do you have opera running in the background?

does it boot you out when the keyboard comes up, or when u click send?

everything is set up right, a PC reboot always does it for me as well, Im sure it is the ROM, going to hard reset the phone and try again, thanks

Make sure you do the required steps first....

I need to know any issues with Sprint v1.3 before I make any more carrier ROMs

Also, I will be accepting Mirror links and will post them on the 1st Post
