Re: [09/12/08] JUICY ROM v1.08

Great work guys!!

I finally found the time to flash the ROM on my Diamond. GPS locks with eleventy million sats in just a few seconds. I had problems getting a lock at first, but when I discovered the ID 10 T error it worked fine........I have been involved with WM devices since the first Jornada. I have flash dozens of devices. I have run WM websites, I have made thousands of posts and answered thousands and thousands of questions for people. I was even a Microsoft MVP for Mobile devices...yet I struggled for 10-15 minutes trying to figure out why I wasn't getting any SAT locks....I never turned GPS on! I'm an idiot.

Again, nice work, all of you!

Dave

Juicy47, I noticed that you have set the long press end button to lock the phone by default. Will this just lock the screen? Is there some way to change it so that it does a device lock, the same as after a lock timeout?

No those are two different things. You can put the pasword lock to enable on "screen off" though.

Oh, ok. I thought it might have been a javascript issue that the video wasn't loading, because video loads fine on megavideo.com and veoh.com. Just crunchyroll.com didn't load. (This is on 1.07)

Flash Lite can always be added via .cab later. It just doesn't play well with Opera 9.5.1938, which is by far the best build for the diamond.

Re: [09/12/08] JUICY ROM v1.08

Oh man, I hate the battery life of Diamond. I can't even begin to fathom what the GSM guys feel like, lol.

I used the music player today, quite some Garmin, took pics and a couple vids. I don't know if I should be impressed because I came home with one bar after all that usage, or if I should be upset because I came home with one bar!
