amikam and everyone else thats using s2u2, give this a try if you want. it makes s2u2 that much easier on the eyes. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=467435 also..here's the direct link to the download page: http://tpro.station59.com/downloads/4-slide2unlock2/ the good thing about this is that there's no need to install anything as the file is just placed and accessed from internal storage. no memory usage and big visual upgrade....its a win win.

Re: [3/7/2010] MikROM [Sense 2.5 | 21895 / 23544 | Real WM6.5 AKU | Lite & Standard V
Another question, where can I find the upgrade PRL/profile? It's not listed under system settings, even after when i installed DCD's sprint carrier cab.
Thanks |

Figured out eventually. Initially I thought this function was cooked in, so after a hardreset I did not install the DCD cab. Then I realized I still need the cab, so I installed it back on and found the update function in the settings tab.
Where can I access the cookie's home tab configuration page if it's already cooked in? |

What is the purpose of DCD's carrier cab and the update PRL with this rom when on sprint?

1.- "PRL" is like a list of antenas of your carrier, so as you can imagine Sprint has his own PRL. Why sprint have more than one PRL? I believe they have diferent regions of "list of antenas" (depends where do you live) and Also I guess they have diferent "PRL" for "pre-paid" and "Plan" Phones. Which is the best "PRL" for you?? have no clue 'cause I don't have Sprint as my carrier. Why update/change PRL is important? because they add or rest "Antenas" in there Matrix Network. For example, in the stock rom (carrier original) you can update your PRL by OTA, unfortunately in most of the non-stock rom you can't update by OTA (over the air) you need to update it manually. 2.- "DCD carrier cab" is a list of setting/register for your device to make it work fine with your carrier. Again Sprint has his own DCD (sometimes they update it, but not often). If you don't apply the DCD cab you will have to change manually the registry for all the services (like voice, data, etc, etc) works in your mobile. Best Regards, Sabroso.

I've briefly looked and searched but have been unable to find, probably not searching using the right words...
but, isn't there a way to turn the data off automatically after it's been idle? I live in an area where I am roaming all the time and running the data is killing my battery, I swear in one of the roms I saw something that you could do to auto-disconnect the data connection if it was idle for so long |
