I was curious what the weight of the package for the people that received an extra battery and all the accessories. Was it 3.40 lbs, 3.80 lbs, or something else.

watch out guys.. sprint messed up and sent me another phone i was supposed to get when the touch pros came in. the b*tch at sprint lied to me and sent me another refurbed mogul. thank god they had already sent me my tp or i would be extremely pissed.

3.4 on mine, was a new retail box TP and another tiny box with extra battery, plus return mailer and another couple scraps of paper inside of the brown box.

The pro is slowly getting under control. Man I hate moving to a new phone - this is worse then going from apache to mogul :D

Can you provide me the baby steps on how to get this thing replace to a Pro?

1) What do I say is wrong with the phone when reporting? I have insurance on the phone, so anything else special I need to say?
2) Easier to go to a store or online?
3) What is assurion?

Hey Class1c, so they sent you a Mogul after they sent you the new TP? Did your original confirmation email say your busted phone was going to be replaced with a TP or a Mogul? Now I'm worried, my email sez they are sending a TP , but this raises doubts.

Hopefully I will get the extra battery too. It says the weight of mine is 3.40 lbs. I hate that I caught this thread so late into it. I had to wait a little over a day to wait for the TP to be offered as a replacement again, so now I might have to wait till Tuesday before it gets delivered (wasn't shipped out till 12:27 am this morning). Hopefully I will be getting it Monday instead since it's just an hour away from me.](*,)

I went from the Fusic to the Mogul. That was a pretty big change for me because the Fusic's battery lasted for days. My Mogul's battery lasts about a day. Hopefully I can figure out a way to get the same results from the TP.

1. state the problems you yourself are having with the phone.
2. online worked for most of the people posting on this thread including myself.
3. asurion is the insurance group sprint and other cell companies use for insurance on their products (with asurion you will have to pay the $55 deductable, through the sprint website you proabably wont).

when i had originally did the self replacement through the sprint website the confirmation stated my mogul was going to be replaced by the touch pro. and i tried to confirm it through ecare and tech support. none of which could locate my delivery. i ordered it on sun and on tues morning i called. later that day i received a call saying i got a package and it was the tp. however on tues morning when i called they redid another order and said that the tp's were on backorder and they would send one once they were available (they didnt know they had already sent me my tp) so a couple days go by and i get a package...... it was a mogul. so they b.s.ed me on the phone. if the deal said they were replaceing your mogul with the tp ull more than likely get it. dont call them to replace it. theyll screw u.

After reading this thread I decided to call sprint because I'm more than THRU with my mogul. I told them I've had multiple replacements but refurbished phones and after about a 20 minute wait, they agreed to send me a TP free of charge. This could be because I'm nearing the end of my contract but hey, its worth a try. Sprint is very aware of the widespread issues with the mogul.

Cool, thanks...One way or another I'm going to get a TP, even if they ship me a Mogul, I'll sell it on ebay and put in the difference. Just so much nicer getting one for free!

If you return your Mogul and they find it to be non-defective they will charge you for the Touch Pro.

I had a Sprint store tech confirm my mogul was broken and they gave me a form stating that it was broken and that i include it with the returned phone. I used the website self-service rather than having the store do it for me. Mainly because I have heard the store hoards the TP's when they come in, even if designated for a customer replacement and then delays until they get a Mogul for the customer. Pretty shady, but it was confirmed by a store employee that I know. Yes, they will charge you if they deem your phone was broken beyond repair or is not broken at all.

I still can't make heads or tails of this line. If the phone was repairable then why would we need new phone. Why is it our problem if they can't refurbish it?

yes and if they send you a refurbished mogul return it ( say somethigns worng with it ) and they will have to send you a new one ( its in the contract ) and since they dont have any new moguls then they will have to send you a TP or a DIamond or whatever they gona offer you

I think Sprint when they read this thread, they gonna start checking every Mogul you guys are sending, if it doesn't have any issue, you are in trouble :)

Crossing my fingers!!

Checked my wifes Touch on Sprints site and they still want to replace it with another Touch. She wants her keyboard back. They gave her the touch as a replacement for her 6700 b/c they were out of Moguls.

Have to wait and see.

Greetings. I have a question about returning my mogul for the TP they sent me. I have 2 moguls that are in different stages of being broke. One has a dead talk button, white spots, and stops charging every now and then. My second mogul is in horrible shape, dead face buttons, wifi switch is broke, power button fell off, and it got dropped in a bathtub months back. I called asurion to replace my more functional mogul, but after thinking thinking about it, would they ever know the difference if i sent them my worst of the 2 moguls? I mean my better one would be great to hang on to, just in case. But i dont wanna get charged by asurion for sending in the wrong one. You guys think they would figure it out? thanks, dschoenike

Got the same response and now im just playing the waiting game. the only thing that bothers me is how can they diagnose dropped calls or poor signal. I sure as hell dont wanna get hit with a no-deffect fee. But good luck ya

im not sure but i think they know which phone is ESN is active and when you replace the phone they would be expecting that same one that was active. You may want to see what the others say when they chime in...

So I bought a Mogul on ebay last week. I activated it on Friday the 23rd. If it was previously activated by another person, then deactivated and sole and reactivated, does the 30 day activation counter restart when I activated it?

Anyone know what comes in a Touch Pro package weighing 2.20 lbs? If it's just the handset, and no accessories, I'm a little worried - is the battery the same for the 6800 and 6850?

My UPS tracking info also states a package weight of 2.20 lbs. My invoice email stated I was getting a Touch Pro. Can anyone confirm 2.20 lbs is a Touch Pro?
