Re: Sero Premium and Best Buy

Thanks birostick! You are the man!

Bummer answer though, so it looks like I will be heading to a sprint store or telesales in 2 weeks.

Re: SERO Premium

To anyone who is waiting for Windows Phone 7 devices to hit Sprint before they make a decision on an Android phone, don't hold your breath. Microsoft confirmed today that NO Windows Phone 7 devices will be on ANY CDMA platform until mid 2011. So basically, Sprint won't get a Windows Phone 7 device for another year.

Re: SERO Premium

I wouldn't say it like that. 2011 is a few months away. I read it as first half of the year. Microsoft: Windows Phone 7 to be GSM-only until first half of 2011 -- Engadget

Re: Sero Premium and Best Buy

I had another idea,

Would it be possible to upgrade my plan through telesales and leave my upgrade option unused? I could then head to Best Buy and upgrade my phone there under the new Sero Premium. They could always call to activate like they did with old Sero plans a few years ago.

"You won ’t be able to upgrade through third party stores."

Now if you can talk Best Buy into calling Sprint then you can. It is up to the rep and how willing they are. No one can say yes or no on this forum. Unless they work for best buy and you go when they are working. 3rd party stores cannot upgrade on their system.

Re: SERO Premium

After using a friends Epic for about 30 minutes, I dont know if I could go back to a windows phone for a new device. It sucked having to go back to my TP2 running winmo. I am seriously considering picking up an Epic and not waiting on WinMo7.

Re: SERO Premium

I haven't read this whole thread but does anyone know if you will be able to go back to the $30/month plan if you upgrade? Reason i'm asking is that i'm buying a used evo to play with but I want to make sure i can go back to my TP2 and pay $30 if i want to.
