Re: SERO Premium
Nope no Sero Premium, In fact none of the reps I talked to would even mention it, in store or on the phone. As I said I was only on the everything plus plan for 7 days so i guess they treat plan changes just like new phones meaning it is completely undo-able within 30 days. Also I had a very nice person I was talking to on the phone for customer service, not sure if that helped or not.
Lastly, I am not sure why the corporate store is so limited but they assured me in the store that there was no possible way for them (the store) to put my back on SERO. They did let me use one of their phones to call in and get it changed. I really should have kept my epic until October, which would have been only 24 days, then downgraded back so I could have not had to flip back to my old phone. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed that the premium add-on is easy to get on the plan.

I currently have the $30 F&F Sero plan, but I'm not clear on what the October upgrade will provide me. I understand that those like me will get AMA, and unlimited GPS, however what about BIS? For $40, I would love to have the BIS option incase I plan to use a BB device. |

Re: SERO Premium
Yes, supposedly in October SERO people will get addons like:
Sprint Navigation Any mobile, Any time. Blackberry internet service Sprint TV Ability to add Android, Blackberry, WebOS, Windows Mobile (Not sure about Win Phone 7 yet) phones. Pretty much everything that the EPRP folks get, so will the SERO folks for the extra $10/month. To me, its a pretty good deal.

Re: Sero Premium and Best Buy
McGuire’s Law » Blog Archive » Psst… The Palm Pre is now available through Everything Plus
Hi Russ, Given the news about the SERO plans being able to put the EVO and EPIC on their plans with the added $10-20 fees, how would one go about this? Would the plan holder have to go to a Sprint store for the upgrades? or are they able to go through third party (Bestbuy, Radio Shack)? What about Telesales? I ask this because I am a SERO plan holder (like many others) and would love the opportunity to be able to keep my plan and be able to put an EVO on it. Thank You in advance and keep up the good work, Alex. McGuire’s Law » Blog Archive » Psst… The Palm Pre is now available through Everything Plus Alex, You’ll be able to upgrade through Sprint owned channels - Sprint owned stores, telesales, and the web. You won’t be able to upgrade through third party stores. Russ I think that pretty much sums up your question. I was the one that actually asked it because I would love to have the instant rebate as well. Cheers |
