Slow response been out of town... Yea, Angry Birds will never work perfect on our devices. A little choppy at times, kids still sure love it.

One more little tip :>)) put phone in airplane mode before playing... can't get those adds from the internet :>))

Man, I can't believe how much time and energy is wasted fretting over Angry Birds...

Anyway, if you actually use your phone as a phone, Airplane Mode is a bit extreme. Just turn off Data, or use Droidwall...

2. Copy the startup.txt file from the unzipped build (\sdcard\yourdirectorynameifused\startups\RHOD), to the same directory as haret.exe. Rhod400=Sprint (believe 500=Verizon)

What is the startup.txt for US Celluar?

Depends on whether you have a RHOD400 or 500. The startups are probably the same tho - If you read the FAQ it tells you how to figure out what RHOD you have (100, 210, 300, 400, 500).

All I saw in the FAQ is trial and error determination, I would like to get it right the first time. I am new to the Android experiment. the US Cellular tp2 is a odd bird in itself. US Cellular doesn't even sell spare power adapters for it. You have to go after market or ebay to try to find accessories for it

Did you bother reading the FAQ? It's not 'trial and error', it's very cut and dry.

I will copy&paste from the FAQ because you can't be bothered to read it...

If you are confused, the easiest/quickest way to settle it is to pull the battery on the device; shut it down completely first, if you can. Do not look on the battery itself, but on the phone itself. On the sticker it should say what device you have — 4 letters and 3 numbers, above the IMEI bar code...
Was that so hard?

I took the back off the tp2 and took the battery out underneath the fcc seal there is a very faint thin grayish white line of letters about 1/16" high if that, against a light gray background. need to use a magnifying lens and a light held at an angle to read it. very faintly it does say rhod400. but not on the white sticker with the 3 lines of barcodes on it.
thank you for your help! was that quote in the fine print at bottom of FaQ?

Wow. You obviously didn't read the FAQ. It's the FIRST frickin' "frequently asked question". Literally, THE FIRST on the FAQ. Congratulations.

Re: Simple Guide FRX07!!, 4 Easy Steps (15 min): XDANDROID TP2 DL links

I have a TP2 RHOD400.

FRX07 works but I have a few questions.

The "amber charge" light is always on unless I press the power button, the screen then turns off and the light goes green. What causes that?

Also, when automatic brightness is off, the lights behind the "talk, end talk" keys lights up but when auto brightness is on, those lights never turn on.

When auto brightness is on, I dont see the brightness change when i go indoor to outdoor.

Other then that, everything has been working ok, including wep wifi.

Thanks
