Re: Unofficial known issues list - 1/13 Headset thru USB adapter now working

ACL, Nate, Arrrghhhh, etc, will this work for sound and allow us to charge the TP2 at the same time? If not, will this at least work for sound? Amazon.com: HTC Multifunction Audio Cable YC A300 - Audio / power adapter - mini-phone 3.5 mm, mini-USB Type B, sub-mini phone 2.5 mm, 6 pin HTC ExtUSB (F) - 11 pin HTC ExtUSB (M): Electronics

Yes, that looks the same as the one I tested on.

Just checked, sound and charge work at the same time.

I agree with manekineko. Looks identical to the one that came with my RAPH, and yes sound and charging worked simultaneously... I am still looking for mine .

Re: Unofficial known issues list - 1/13 Headset thru USB adapter now working

Having an issue with my speakerphone. It is doing the static crackling when it is turned on and speaker turns itself on when an incoming call comes stiaticy as well. Is this still a known issue? I thought it was fixed.

If it is supposed to be fixed, where would the problem reside on my end? I.e kernel? rootfs? system.ext2?

I am using latest zimage and modules, 1253 kernel, and tiad8s more stable 1-12 system.ext2 build.

Thanks in advance!

Does this happen on FRX03?

How is tiad8's system image more stable..? I didn't think he really modified anything, other than integrating the graphics improvements from ACL and bzo...

Hmm just tried the speakerphone on FRX03 with 1253 and I also hear the static. Just dialed the voicemail and flipped on speakerphone.

This wasn't always present I think.

Sorry for the confusion. By more stable, I meant the system image from 1.12.11 that works compared to the system image released by Tiad8 2 nights ago that crashed often and calls didn't work.

It looks like it does happen with FRX03, but I'll do some testing myself to confirm.

Thanks!

Re: Unofficial known issues list - 1/13 Headset thru USB adapter now working

I have been using this as my main OS until it crashed and now will not connect any apps to online info anymore giving me and error message or just freezing when I try.

I'm using the previous version (Dec 20th?) with some revised files for better performance. Unfortunately can't keep up with a 1,000 + post thread to know what's really better about the new revision...

Typically the newer stuff/revisions have updated items, i.e. backlight, sound, less FC's, etc, but it's not always as easy just grabbing a new item and dumping it into a folder. Sometimes it's the kernel that is updated, sometimes other items. Also depends where it's coming from as some of the stuff is just testing and will cause other problems. There's really no way around reading through posts to stay updated. Maybe try just dumping your data.img and having it reset another one, that does seem to fix a lot of issues as they do seem to get corrupt every so often. My recommendation is when you get it running good, copy the data.img somewhere else so you can go back to it if you have a future problem. Hopes this helps. You can also try tiad's package that he's put together, just find his thread and read the first few posts and it should get you up and running quickly.

Re: Unofficial known issues list - 1/13 Headset thru USB adapter now working

No matter which build I try, the speaker phone does not work correctly on the 1250 or 1253 Kernel. Just tried out FRX4 with no luck as well. I wonder if it may be my device since other people are not having this problem.

The speaker phone has the fuzzy noise it it and low volume. The annoying part is when someone calls in during a call, the speaker phone turns on by itself with the same effects.

Just tried the 1246 kernel on FRX4 with same effect. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
