how come whenever I shut android down and go back to windows mobile, whenever I go back to android "hardware 3d" is checked, and it brings me to another screen? So, what am I doing wrong? It works on initial startup when I download the cab, but then doesnt work anymore. I have to uninstall and re-install to use it again.

What screen is "another screen"?

I think he's referring to the "run default.txt" screen. To be honest, I'm not clear why that happens either. I keep a good copy of my startup.txt in a seperate folder, and when I go to run Android, I just copy it to the anand folder. I've been through the forums, for the most part but am BRAND NEW to running xdandroid. All I can really say is wow, you guys are amazing. I appreciate all your hard work and very much look forward to this project one day complete. Hec, now I want an Android phone :P

When you make that second copy to keep safe rename it to "default.txt" and leave it inside of the andboot folder. This time when that screen comes up asking for "default.txt" you just click "run" and it will boot haret.

ok, im confused.....And I know i'm slow, lol. Can you please explain this a little better? where is the "startup.txt" that I should be renaming? I read how to do it, it just doesn't make much since to me.

Just did that, (and in my original post I meant the "andboot" folder :P NOW it gave me an error message asking to install the netcf35 cab. I did see something about that in your xdandroid forum and will go back and read over that. Just wanted to give you some immediate feedback. Thanks Reefer

You can try just installing the new cab, it will force you to uninstall the old cab first. Sometimes it works this way, sometimes it causes problems which will require you to delete some old files manually (usually data.img file).

or

Download the .rar and extract it somewhere easy to find. Using a card reader, usb connection to your pc, or even on the phone (its a pain that way) open your sd card and navigate to the "andboot" folder. Delete system.ext2, rootfs.img, zimage, modules, initrd.gz, and data.img. Replace the old ones with the new and youll be good! There will be no new data.img, that one is created by the OS. It stores personal info. Deleting data.img is like doing a hard reset back to "stock" ROM.

then scroll down and click on "view" for the BLAZN cab. Your pop up will contain the download.
