Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
Does anyone here know of a way to boot to android if you are overclocked in WM? When I am overclocked, the launcher hangs with the Haret taskbar at the bottom of the screen and I need to soft reset...
is there something in HAret that checks the cpu speed, and if so can it be updated?

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
Wow, the latest build works surprisingly well, I like it. Is this more of a proof of concept thing? I don't see how useful it is as an actual phone with no sound/incoming ring tones working. Is there a better build that is best to use if you want to use android daily on the TP2 and have your phone ring?

Yep that is one of the reasons I love it. I find myself to have it on silent or vibrate only even when I'm in Windows anyways, so I guess that's why the no sound issue never really bothered me. I'm sure someone will figure it out at some point though.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2
Hey guys I need a little help. I read the first 18 pages and the last 10. I cannot get the intial boot for the life of me. I downloaded flyers cab and installed to me storage card. I even moved all my windows files into another folder. When I go into the project android app in my start menu it opens up, I clicked on rhod 400 since I run sprint. The status bar comes up and it says booting Linux and then it goes away. At this pint nothing happens, the phone will hang up and I will have to reset. I do not see any code pages or anything.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I could be doing wrong or something I am missing. I have been playing with this for over 2 hours and it is now 235am. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Just want to get android booted up. TIA!!!! Last edited by bdurst08; 08-10-2010 at 05:33 AM. |

Thanks and thanked for responding! Update: Thanks for the suggestion Killawatts. I tried changing the overclock value to something lower and still no dice. tried 2 different time and it hung up both times. I really would like to try this so any other help or suggestions are very welcome!! Last edited by bdurst08; 08-10-2010 at 02:24 PM. |
