If it's not working, try a different SD card. This isn't a computer, it's a phone. Everyone with Verizon who has it working is using the EXACT SAME hardware as you

They could have different builds of the hardware for all I know :)

But seriously, what SD cards do people use? I have an 8gb microSD HC.

Thanks!!!

I actually went inside some folders to extract or pull out other folders. Look in each one on your desktop.

LOL. Everyone starts out as a newbie, but with time I learn. Only a select few are A-holes and unfortunately they stay that way... :disgust:

Thanks to those actually doing ALL the work on this project!

Thanks to violentz313 with a suggestion at least. Install still hangs for > 10mins on the 4 colour animation even with that tweak to RAMSIZE in STARTUP.txt.

Anyone with actual suggestions why they install isn't working? Like I said I took the zip from Flyers and installed at root without my SIM card....

To not completely drain the battery I pooped the battery out after the 10 mins of waiting...

What is happening during this animation? Is there any info I can collect from what's on the SD card at this point to help people figure what I need to do to get this working????
THANKS!!!

Try a different memory card. It worked for me. My 8GB would stay in the "X" animation screen. My 4GB card worked fine. (same exact configuration).

Hey guys....I booted it up and ran it with no issues. Amazing. It's a shame about the speaker and bluetooth. That's really all I need. I'm gonna subscribe to this thread and watch and wait.

Thanks! That sounds similar to me so hopefully getting a 4GB card will solve it for me too!!!!!
Although I would prefer the size of the 8GB :)

I'm sure you want power management the most. Then you know when it is about to die and can charge it. Otherwise you will be walking around with a dead phone. Besides, we don't really need to know or care about what you need. It does us no good knowing that info.

I hop0e those last two sentenses were sarcasm, otherwise that's just uncalled for. I would say something harsher, but that not how I roll. :P
