No offense to anyone here but this isnt rocket science to load up your microsd card.

im sorry how hard is it rename zimage.xxxx to just zimage

and drag and drop the gz file with the drivers over to the root android install directory.

We do not need single file downloads. If you really need this than perhaps android development threads are not your cup of tea.

Called being lazy. I very well could download all the files and do it myself but why do it when someone else already did it for me.

Do I need to delete every android file from my sd card, including civic data.img?

mackie - can i just take the zimage from yours and replace mine so i dont have to re-do all my settings? Or are the settings saved to the zimage when changed in android?

The rest of you can thank SmknJoe for all the noobie posts that will be forthcoming at this point.

Back to the show.

Just expressing a different opinion... that's all.
I actually do see your point but I'm of the view that PPCgeeks including this forum and Android project should be easy for even the newest people. (We were ALL noobies at one time). It should be everyone's "cup of tea"

Guys its all the same as Mr. Pippy released, just a new kernel package. This is just to play around with until Mr. Pippy updates post # 1 with his next set of changelogs and stuff.

download link added with todays kernel package to my previous post.

I downloaded the latest kernel and modules from glemsom a little bit ago, but downloaded your zip just to make sure what you have looks like what I have.

You don't have "hw3d.force=1" in your cmdline statement. Any reason why not?

You can add it if you want but that is not something Pippy has put into post #1 yet. I simply just made a one file download with a newer kernal and modules for everyone to enjoy until Pippy releases his next set of goodies. From what I read, that only "partially works" anyways.

Yes everything.

I gotta stop playing that robo defense game. it is sooo addicting. every time i rack up some points, someone has to go and make some amazing change that makes me lose everything. how dare they!

So, how hard would it be to copy my save file from that game. I'm guessing its stored somewhere in data.img and i'd have to mount it, find the files, copy them, and then merge them into a newly created data.img. is that correct or is there some easier way? adb gives me issues with my 64-bit Win 7 desktop.
