It's been a bit, but I remember someone mentioning that if you load haret while charging it will continue to charge until unplugged; maybe this was the case?

Some users are charging Mackie. The actual charging stuff hasn't been worked on yet but due to the roms they are currently running or settings they are running, they are getting charging. No doubt the meters are still gonna be hosed, but hey count themselves lucky.

Don't think that is it, maybe on the original builds, but I usually load haret while activesynced so that I can do adb. I have tried just plugged into a brick as well in the past and didn't notice it charge either, so I still say it is something to do with carried over settings somehow. Or something different in the ROMs.

Re: Android/Linux for CDMA Touch Pro 2

Hey guys,

The full package has been put somewhere else thanks to matthewb57

http://files.androidonhtc.com/files/cdma-tp2

^^Here is the most current with the newest zImage and modules, its fast and touchscreen is much better. Still get random error messages inside Android but I just hit "WAIT" and let it do its thing.

I will do my best to keep the most current versions up. Once a day uploads probably as new modules and zImages are released as well as anything by Mr. Pippy. I am in this thread about 18 hours a day so I don't miss nothing.

Extract zip file to your desktop, open the folder. Copy all files and folders from this folder to the root of your storage card and away you go. Do not use this in a folder you created on your SD card or you will have to update your startup.txt to what is mentioned in this thread.

My releases will always say XANDROID with a date it was compiled on my end.

Please test these things so everyone is aware of the problems so we dont have millions of posts about the same problem.

WOOOT WOOT

If you feel I left something out , lemme know. I am here for you guys as always and will fix immediately.

I think civic is on to it here. If i start haret while its charging in WinMo i can charge in Android. I can even unplug and plug i back in again and it works. If I don't start haret while charging it doesn't work. Maybe its just my setup...i don't know :/

That would definitely be the only way it would work to initialize the system. But again, it is just you select people that are getting lucky like that. You might maybe start comparing notes and seeing what roms you have what your current wm setups are as far as everything goes and kinda go from there. But the devs aren't worried bout it to much till the proper battery design gets programmed for it. So I wouldn't focus too much on it, but maybe will help the others that want to see if they can accomplish it.
