Re: [2/27/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
Some people are able to power off or reboot. How do you do that? When I press the power button, I get the "choose Home or Home++" option. Is there something I need to reconfigure or click or hold?
Thanks! |

You have to hold the hang-up button, not the power button.

Anyone found any live wallpaper dumps? It seems like you need market access for about all of them. I found the earth live and its quite fun to play around with.

Can someone please help? Is anyone using a custom rom and still have it work or do I need the stock rom? Are there any other files I need besides the 95-civic's zip file on the first post? I saw a post a few pages back that described the same problem. Anyone else experiencing the same issue (android not able to search for wireless networks or connect if manually entering the ssid)? |

If your wifi is not finding any networks (and you know there are some) I would: 1) re-download the build in post one and test it on a blank sd card 2) try a different rom

Also, I noticed in the android advanced wifi settings, my MAC address is unavailable. I googled this and found this site http://www.htc-android.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=445 which says that you have to manually edit your mac address in a text file before loading. Does this apply for the TP2 and if so, how can I do this? For people who have it working, do you see your MAC address in the advanced wifi settings or is it "unavailable"? |

Are you formating the sd card? What are the specs of the sd card? Have you tried a different sd card? I haven't edited the text file before loading and my wifi settings shows my mac address |

Knowing that your mac address is coming up and mine is not leads me to believe that this is the problem. Anyone know how to fix this? I'm very eager to get this working. |
