What build is that and does it sync the calendar? This one doesn't and I was about to do some contortions with Google Calendar to get it synced. Thanks found it but still no calendar sync that I can see. Last edited by ebor; 03-01-2010 at 03:37 PM. Reason: update |

Wow...talk about stirring up a hornet's nest. one update from civic and 30+ pages of updates to this thread. In case I missed it is there any difference b/t this and the current xdandroid w/ WiFi other than CDMA voice?

I believe you have to make a call in Winmo (call voicemail) dont disconnect and then run the haret...let it load...it will disconnect on its own. Then once you are all booted up...call someone and you should be able to make calls. I believe. I could be wrong tho. I am new to this as well.

Re: [2/27/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
I have a Verizon TP2. I configured wifi on my TP2, called my VM, and then booted Android using that nice "Y duel boot" program. Once In Android, I was able to connect to my wireless network with no problems at all and then browse to ppcgeeks. I was also able to make a call with no issues. I left the phone sitting for a bit and the screen dimmed (powersave).
My display shifted to horizon when I opened to expose my keyboard; didn't ever have to mess with the stylus. I played some game where I was supposed to have to tilt the phone to make a bouncing guy climb platforms and that didn't work. I played a little uno and a couple of other games, they worked fine. No marketplace, no sms, no 3g data, and no sound (all as expected). This info is just all FYI and in no way am I complaining about the super-duper awesome job that the people who are porting this are doing!! I'm so excited about what works so far and check this thread all the time for updates. |

I'm assuming your talking about the most recent build civic uploaded.. yes it works on Verizon fine. I have Verizon and have been messing around with it quite a bit since it has been released.
