Re: [1/25/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]
just give the devs time, they will get it. I wonder what would happen if you tried to load up the original Touch Pro's Android build?

Wirelessly posted (TP2 Biznitch: Opera/9.80 (Windows Mobile; WCE; Opera Mobi/WMD-50369; U; en) Presto/2.4.13 Version/10.00)
someone should give it a shot. I thought the hardware from the tp1 and tp2 were similar.

![]() One of the first things I did with my new Rhodium was load up the RAPH800 android package and run haret. I routinely received a blank, white screen after boot. I am also fairly confident that Civic, or other devs, would have compared the configurations of the data connected RAPH builds with that of RHODIUM for any helpful hints. I think the fact that the first bootable build came with call functionality sped our expectations. In time, I think we'll all be rockin a fully functional build. |

Just tried it. Linux rolls about 15 lines of text, the phone vibrates twice and goes black. I did have TouchFLO3d loaded before I went into Android, so I figured I'd let it sit for a few minutes, I'm on minute 12 and nothing so far from the phone. I hold the power button and nothing happens. Battery pull and I press the powerbutton and it boots right into Windows.

Sounds to me like someone just needs to get a genuine Android phone. |
