Not sure, but it may be related to my putting it in airplane mode. I'll leave the radio on this time & see what happens. I left it off to save battery.

side note, how does the light behave in this build? there's been some changes lately, so I'm not sure what to expect anymore.... The light stays orange when the screen is off.

hmmmm..... looks like SOD.
not sure where we are with lights but all that is really simple to fix. Goal here is to make sure 1) data can come up automatically 2) wifi comes up with no issues 3) you dont get screwed with no ts calibration like haret 4) Now the lagy screen. that may be due to cpu usage.

adb into your phone and type "top". See how badly the cpu is being hammered. Also dont use the reset button on the side. Yo are in nand now and doing that will force android to do extra work when it boots up next time. Ever see a native android user use one of those.. never..

Since xdandroid does not have a reboot feature we will most likely implement it via apk of some sort. Id hate to brach of just for that feature.

As for the minor stuff, we need to get a running list going so once we stabilized the install i can continue to attack the kernel ..

I had to go back to yesterday's build, couldn't get it to turn back on. Unable to test data, as my rhod's not activated. WiFi on 3-10 couldn't obtain ip address.

Total SOD... I can't get it to do anything. I tried a fresh install this morning, but still nothing.
I attached a couple screen shots of adb from 3-10 build, can't copy & paste text from it....
I may try last night's build one more time today, I'll try adb if I do. I'll have to do it as soon as it boots, or it won't work.

what? is your adb weird? adb should always work. adb is so solid it even works without android :-p

when you mean 3-10 you meaning the kernel or android install?

thanks dood.. as soon as you can adb i need dmesg when you are trying to power on the panel. Also the kernel dumps a dmesg on your sdcard when it installs. You can send me that copy too.

I'll have to try again.

By 3-10 I mean this: http://htcdevs.wirelesstcp.net/files...roidupdate.tgz
this: http://htcdevs.wirelesstcp.net/files...54-RHODIMG.NBH
and this: http://htcdevs.wirelesstcp.net/files...oidinstall.tgz
So, I guess if the kernel is in the update, that's what I mean.

attached the dmesg for this one.

I'm re-installing last night's now. Should be up & running shortly....

OK, tried again. This time I turned on stay awake while charging. Here's adb screen shot and dmesg. These are from last night's build.

I just tried to plug it in after I shut the panel off, my pc doesn't even know it's there. adb says device not found...

tried top cmd after rebooting, was working fine until the panel turned off, adb froze dead in its tracks as soon as it shut off.

Looks like you're using Winblows...

You can copy from the terminal, it just sucks royally. Right click->Mark. Then you can make a selection to copy.

Much easier in Linux .

I have ubuntu installed on another hd, but I'm not very good with it. Took me multiple attempts to setup the sdk.

Extract sdk, make the modification to allow adb... Can't remember where it is off of the top of my head, but for me it was SO much easier in Linux rather than Windows.
