Is there something better on Test 7 than the 09-25 build? Just curious if anything was working in that one that isn't anymore

Also, I think I got the keyboard config thing down with a modded rootfs. I'll finish my testing when I get home tonight and upload it along with the latest compile from ACL's changes.

I still haven't gotten the hw3d changes to work, but I'm not giving up. Just went back to WM for the drive today so I could have bluetooth
I commited more stuff last night and possibly more today. So keep your eye on the commit list

Ok as far as autobuilding is concerned. i want to get the scripts from Netripper or Glemsom so we can have a server do all this crap for us. I havent seen em on the boards recently so when i do i will ask. We already have a hosting space so its a matter of just getting the scripts so we dont have to rewrite em.

Great news ACL. I can refactor the scripts for you if you want. At least that part I know what I'm doing

I'll do a new compile when I get back too and test that. I'm starting to figure out the boot process after all the testing and rootfs modding, and I'm testing a more elegant method for keyboard selection that won't require a file on the card.

On NAND, everything feels smoother to me, but we're having issues getting newer compiles working atm.

Also, don't use these builds from Haret except for testing. The performance on Reefer's builds from linux-msm will be better from Haret.

Re: NAND Boot File Repository

o ok it just seems like the scrolling through the app drawer is really choppy and it seems to take longer to click on anything like you have to push harder or something.

two things to remember as well. On startup, it will be choppy since things are still loading for a couple of minutes after boot.

Second, the shell you are using can make a big difference. Launcher Pro will feel more smooth than the default shell.

Re: NAND Boot File Repository - Keyboard Mapping Fixed

OK all. I have uploaded the custom rootfs.img and posted the link on the first post. Just copy the file to your andboot file and rename it to rootfs.img.

To get your keyboard mapping, put a blank file named rhod500.kb, rhod400.kb, rhod210.kb, or tilt2.kb in the andboot folder as well. If you do not have a .kb file in your andboot folder, it will default to rhod500.

I also uploaded the latest compile of ACL's changes. I am still unable to get this one to boot, but feel free to give it a try and let us know if it works for you.

ACL, I just got ADB up and running and did a logcat for you and pulled the kernel messages. I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for. I just see death everywhere! :P
Attached Files
File Type: zip logcat.zip (11.3 KB, 1 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: zip proc-kmsg.zip (4.7 KB, 0 views) Click for barcode!

Cool. The new rootfs.img is on the first post. Just add a file named rhod400.kb to your andboot folder, and flash with whatever build you want (still can't get anything newer than 09-25 to work myself).
