Re: NAND Boot Testing - 12-14: Panel power off fixes and new rootfs (important update
Yeah, it's one of those odd quirks that I think started when ACL enabled USB gadget drivers. I'm getting some good information to put in the FAQ from all the new people though :P

I'm flashing to the new 12-14 kernel right now. Are you having issues with it? Please try to be more descriptive if possible. The screen is supposed to stay on during boot and then power off/on should work in Android.

Re: NAND Boot Testing - 12-14: Panel power off fixes and new rootfs (important update
I have that as well. That's really odd because I have a command at the beginning of the rootfs that is supposed to set brightness to full like we used to do.

Re: NAND Boot Testing - 12-14: Panel power off fixes and new rootfs (important update
in the microp code during boot wistilt calls the panel resume function which does some brightness settings. Unfortunately for us this kills the panel since we are still booting. So i commented that out and it doesnt seem to have any negative effect.
