Re: [3/6/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]

16 minutes is way too long... the line of codes finished for me after a few minutes on first boot. the nexus one animation took longer lol... next bootups were really short, almost like booting winmo.
i have an 8gb class 6

ps. My first time using my main sdcard via creating a Android folder on the root.

It 16 minutes now and im still looking at command codes...
Ouch those are some bad load times, thx for the input, but honestly this is the card I have been using for Android since the beginning. This is the first time I have had bad issues. I formatted it prior to install, and that is all that's on the card. I don't know what class it is, but im guessing class 6 because it's always booted fast. I just tried deleting my data file, and it actually booted all the way to home screen, but when I slid open the keyboard to make the orientation right it reset again.

First off, great work to all that have contributed to this so far. Data is working wonderfully as is the ear piece. I'm wondering, though... why does Google Maps seem to think I'm in Europe? It shows me somewhere in Switzerland... I'm wondering if this is the reason Marketplace doesn't work as well?

Mr Pippy answered this, It thinks your in Europe because he had to hard code the location to fix something else for now, and the marketplace it's a RIL issue not reporting the IMEI correctly.

Took me longer than I expected to do this, thought I'd throw out this reference for anyone else who had an issue, this is the link that helped me:

Re: [3/6/2010] Google Android for TP2 CDMA [In Dev]

I did a battery pull and Im going back to my sdcard 4GB class6. Switching to this sdcard I normally get a full Android in 2-3 minutes with the last release. I wanted to see if I had to walk around with extra sdcard to run Android.

My 16gb sdcard is loaded w all types of stuff from music, movies, cabs etc etc...lol That could have been the reason.
