WM 6.5 Custom Taskbar

Really, I can't seem to change the damn start icon, if I do change it it just appears transparent and I can't go into the start menu (not by pressing the place where the icon is or the hardware key). Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Icons are 32x32 but I've also tested 41x36.

Could be a number of things, could be the image your using is corrupted now, could be the shellres is not signed. Upload your shellres and the icon your wanting in there and shoot me a PM when you have done so, so I can go in and edit it to see if I can't get you fixed up.

BUT I FOUND A FIX FOR THE MISSING SIMS ICON FOR NOW:


Easy way to fix the white missing sims card signal problem is to put a dead sims card in your phone then go to network change setting to cdma only and away you go Signal works and no more missing sims icon.
I used a old boost sims from a phone i had when i was like 15 so i hope this helps

So to tsowen now it's up to the task bar builders to figure out what it is that changes in the phone to make that missing sims icon show up when installing custom task bars

I am stil not running WM 6.5 as Sprint has not released it yet for the TP2 but I may have to grab my buddies and try and see what I can come up with.

I'm trying to modify shellres.192.dll, but every time I sign it, copy over the original and soft reset, I end up missing start, signal and "X" icons.
Maybe my msigner doesn't do what it's supposed to.

Check this out. The one on the left is from DJC from xda-dev (working) and the one on the right - mine (not working)



Any suggestions as to signature?

I'm also looking for a fix to this...This is my favorite taskbar, but seems to break the htc notification manager in MR. X ROM too.
