Sweet...I was wondering why my phone was draining so quickly yesterday and today...it kept trying to access marsware for weather...AND I also live in a poor reception area..which compounds this. What's so funny is that last night when I put it on the charger...it had gotten so hot that it gave me a warning messaging that it was too hot so it was going to stop charging 'til it cooled down...so I just turned the radio off...and it was fine.

Good question. All this really does is update your registry, which is in main memory, so you should install it there (although, ultimateley it doesn't matter).
I installed to my SD card and everything is good now... Thanks much...

Well it's time for me to download this gem. Woke up this morning and no more updates.

ATTENTION!

I've posted modified DLL's that will authorize through proxies, ActiveSync, etc. This is a superior solution to WP-Auth, which I will remove.

Read about it/download here

Sorry for any confusion - we all learned a lot in the last couple of days. Please uninstall WP-Auth and use this new solution...

OK to reduce any confusion I'm going to lock this thread so that it can fall off the front page. Just in case anyone didn't read storyr's post two above this one, this solution is out-of-date and should not be used.

SEE This Thread for the current fix.

Many thanks to storyr for keeping weatherpanel alive and kicking for everyone!
