Anything really different, or just more stable?

Re: GPSToday v0.9.9.7 Beta

I need your help guys. I have an Omnia, and in the GPSToday in the setting that says Wakeup Device at Fix Intervals, what do you guys have it set on? For power reasons, I'd rather have it set to off, but does that mean that wen my Omnia goes to sleep GPSToday wont be able to get the fixes at the set intervals?

Hi TheRealHotShot, when you click on Options on the bottom right hand soft key, then click on Settings in the menu, then go to GPS/Location Settings, you will see it. I guess I can send an email to support and ask them exactly how that works.

Ok after playing around with that setting I'll say keep it clicked on but keep screen off cause all it does is when it find a new fix on you it wakes your device up like you hit the power button when the screen is black so I'll leave that off cause if your phone in your purse while at the mall can't lock a gps on you than you walk outside and it find a fix on you it turn your screen on which if your not playing attention than it can click something you ont want if your screen bump on something hope this helps
