TF3D: Glass Envelope Edition-display more of your email in the email tab

The Glass Envelope Edition:
There are actually 2 versions: Thin Glass (pic on left) and Thick Glass (pic on right).
I have attached both cabs to the bottom of this post.

The Thin Glass cab is called HD_Transparant_Envelope.cab Thank you Blessed HD over at xda.

For the Thick Glass edition, install the Giangishanghaienvelope cab. (Although it was cab'd up by DavidK at FuzeMobility, it was named after its creator at xda.)

FuzeMobility also did a write up about it here.

Disable TF3D before the install. Install the cab. Soft reset. Enable tf3d.

(credit for the pic goes to David K over at FuzeMobility)

Original TF3D Email Tab Remove Email Tab:

It removes the part of the envelope from the tf3d email tab. Your email actually appear over the envelope giving you more of the message.

To install:
1. Disable tf3d
2. Install the FuzeMobilityNoEnvelope.cab
3. Soft reset
4. Enable tf3d

Thanks for the .cab go to Bugsykoosh over at xda and his post at fuzemobility.com with the specific article here.

Although it is recommended, I did not disable TF3D before installing.
I just installed the cab. Then soft reset.

Re: TF3D: display more of your email in the email tab

Glad you guys like it. I made the cab and as you can tell by the name it was part of a posting I did on fuzemobility.com: http://www.fuzemobility.com/?p=1828
Hope it helps and we've got plenty of other good tips and tricks...

Is there a way, where you can read e-mails like we read SMS? Changing with a flick of the finger.....

haven't tried the cab, but you can do this with the stock email version in TF3D... slide from the top of the email to the bottom of the envelop

This works with the TF3D hd as well, or at least the version found in KK's loaded rom (link in my sig).

You can also swipe from the bottom of the email to the top to go back to the previous message. This cab only increases the message display, it doesn't (or at least shouldn't) affect the gestures associated within the tab itself.

Re: TF3D: display more of your email in the email tab

hey guys...quick question, I have a friend who has an HTC Fuze...and he is looking to do the exact opposite with his TF3D, he would like it to NOT show a preview of the emails in his inbox...anyone know if this is possible? is there a setting or reg hack I can direct him to?

Re: TF3D: display more of your email in the email tab

why not just not have an email tab then? If you don't want a preview get rid of the tab...
