so with the xip i just put in the rom folder and then use the kitchen

if you are using ppckitchen, you can set it up to insert it for you, with other kitchens, you have to insert it into your payload

ok so with pppckitchen i just put in the build os folder

it has to co in your devices core/rom, and the txt's have to point to it properly, you will need to add a line in devicebases, and create a new buildbases txt

Can you walk us through how to insert this into the payload? And what portion of the process differs between devices? (ie what do we have to do different for the Touch, Diamond, Titan, etc.....if anything)

ervius's kitchen will slap a xip_out.bin into a payload I think, but I've only used it once, I don't use anything but ppckitchen because it's more versatile, and easier to use if you have several devices

Funny, but no one is willing to share how they do it??? It don't matter to me anymore cause I use Ervius's kithcen it's just I've seen this come up countless times and no one who knows has adressed it............
