I created a fix for the scrollbar in tachi dialer! Thanks to Alex~ on xda for the line, i have modified the phcanrc.dll. Replace the one in the tachi dialer with the one attached. This is for vga only. Heres the fix. http://alexauv.com/PPC/CABS/phcanrc.zip

As far as the MSXIPKernel, it doesn't matter WHERE/WHAT device you grab it from, but using the OEMXIPKernel will more than likely not brick your device, but just won't work. Better to just not try it though

Sounds like you may not have inserted the XIP. Upload you build log to http://pastebin.com and post the link here in the forum so we can all take a look. Also, check my dig, there is a link to a guide to getting PPCKitchen set up for any newer build.

FYI to everyone else, I'm looking at some 21847. If all goes well, I'll post some PPCK files

FYI, I have no way of testing the 21847 since PPCKitchen's login server is down. As soon as it comes back up, I will test and post.

Check out this quick tutorial I came up with.
Had some help from joojoobee666 with adding the XIP to the core.rar.
And make sure that the in the BuildBases txt you hit ENTER just once after the last ] symbol.
That last empty line makes a big difference.

Did you check the instructions that I posted?
How did you go about adding the xip to the core?
If you un-rar, add then re-rar, it might give you problems.
You should open with WinRAR. Drag n drop the xip, select OK, then close.
Double check BuildBases txt file.
Make sure that there is a single final lime at the bottom of the file.

EDIT:
Do you remember if you changed the pagepool. Or does the TP have that abillity/handicap.

Just tried to start the kitchen.
So I disconnected the I-Net started the kitchen, then re-connected.
I will try to build a TP ROM, but I don't have a unit to test with. (yet, maybe).
I was thinking of the doing the $99.99 upgrade (with 2yr renewal).
But I might hold out for the TP2.
