Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Yeah. Looks like we should wait until the FINISHED changes get ported to the 230xx tree.

i think i like the changed they did to the tabs (or where is going) even if they take twice the real estate.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
21925 is neat to mess with, tho definitely not a daily rom. The direction MS is going with making everything more finger friendly is nice. There is still alot of growing to be done, but I personally like where its heading - can't wait to see the next step! Thanks Da_G, your contributions are greatly appreciated!

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Yup, thats is absolutely right. If the UI gets this kind of big controls, capacitive screens wont be a problem to implement. Although i dont miss it much, but it would be a welcome change, specially for phones without physical keyboards. Although there are many great sips available, the resistive screen does misses some taps which is painful while typing in hurry I think I would be even more in love with Windows Mobile when first 6.5 phone will be released. I dont mind the delay in release, if its gonna be great.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
PPCKitchen files for 21925. I thought MAYBE some PPCK users would like to easily check out the UI changes. Some aren't pretty, but maybe interesting enough (I think the tabs have some potential). Enterprise, IPSECVPN and LiveSearch are optional under system. AdobeFlash and browsingie have been recmodded.
Herman XIP is tested, all others aren't. Again, just let us know if there are any issues with any xip's or files. Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Just think of the COM3 tree vs. the MD1 tree in this way:
Unstable, Unpolished, Brand new features debut on MD1, get some testing, polishing, and finishing, and work their way into COM3 when deemed "worthy" COM3 contains more up to date OS-level code... And at the end, the trees will both be combined into one, which will be 6.5.1

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Is 21925 that bad ? or is this just a flash, play with for a few hours then flash back to your last rom ?
Is it stable to be able to use day to day ? I want to see the progress but, I do need a working phone. Unless someone has some screen shots of the new layouts.... |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
from what i've read over in Da_G's thread on xda it's nice to flash to for a few hours, but people for the most part have been going back to 23004.
haven't had much of a chance to play around w/it yet, just DLed it today so i can't speak from experience |
