No need. If there is no donor xip, just use the RAW MSXIPKernel files. It will build a XIP just fine with those. We just prefer the method we use. We are currently testing 21882, and you will see when it is released that our SYS_21882_XIP will contain the raw MSXIPKernel files as well. Dump them all in the root of the rar\folder.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Yes, I agree.
I hope testing goes well. My circuit designing is better than my raring.

EDIT:
When I follow the file structure of say: SYS_21xxx_96DPI_0409.rar,
I appears to contain most of the files that I find within the "0409" and "Common" of the dpi_96,
also the dpi_96_resh_240_resv_320 and the SHARED folders of the 21882_SYS_QVGA_VGA_WVGA_0409.

I am searching PPCK site for help in understanding how to arrange the folders and RAR them up.
As in some files will overwrite others, and then there’s the method used to RAR them up.
Select all from within a given folder, then right click, select add to 21xxx__.rar,
or do I open the folder with WinRar, and work from within that app to drag n drop folders into the rar file that I am trying to create there.

I might just wait for someone to do all that “File Building”.
It’s easer for me to interrupt the timer circuit relay connection with an Optocoupler to avoid transient current spikes.

EDIT 2:
From the looks of the Index of downloads, they are getting ready for a major Update..

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

PPCKitchen 1.0.0 files for 21882 for manual download. This should be on the updater later, so here's the goods for those that want to get a head start.

http://joojoobee666.ppckitchen.org/Kitchens/21882/

Enjoy.

UPDATE: They will not be on the updater until tomorrow, you know, family holiday stuff.

I tried the above method to use the 21882 Kernel files no go. Here is the error during the Building XIP. Halts the cooking process entirely. I dumped the RAW MSXIPkernel files into my 21882 XIP folder (I use kitchen unrared and no thats not my problem..)

Error:
Conversion from string "BuildOS" to type 'Integer' is not valid.

That was just copying all the inluded MSXIPKernel files from the 21882 source without creating FILES and MODULES folders.

Then made the folders and I tried copying the files to "FILES" and modules to "MODULES" it went a step further but then halted on this error. The source files are incomplete for us PPCkitchen users.

Error:
Could not find file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Normal\Application Data\hIq Inc\PPCk-BuildOS\1.0.0.0Temp\rom\Out\MODULES\busenum.dll.tx t'.

Any ideas, I want to figure this out I see Joo Joo just posted the manual downloads but I want to know how to do it for next early releases.

Take a look at those files for 21882. The XIP is using the RAW MSXIPKernel files.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Is it me, or is something missing?

Internal Error – Option.xml GUID not found (Phone_dpi_96_resv_320 -68efe065-332b-4b55-8a00-05dce036176e)

And about 5 more relating to phoneredist and other stuf.

Please help.

EDIT:
Can I just import the Option.xml file from the 21874 file?
