Thanks conflipper! Ported over your SYS/XIP to my Elfin but can't create a new text message (same problem as in 21139). Any ideas?

Now look at what you went and made me do....I have been testing 21159 Beta 4 on my Titan for about a week now, I was waiting on the Beta 5 release, now I am forced to toy with the 21169.

EDIT: I have also received a number of PM's regarding the picture messging not working with the Verizon folks. People are getting an error message saying either they do not have the correct permissions, or a similar message. Here's how you take care of that. This is especially for the CR versions (Build 21139). When you cook your ROM, and you are in your BuildOS window, do not select any Arcsoft options. This will prevent Arcsoft from installing when you flash. Then, after flashing, skip the Customization, install the VZW Carrier cab, soft reset, install the Arcsoft cab I previously posted, and soft reset again. This should get your SMS/MMS back up and running, as well as do the proper RegEdits for you (hence the reason for doing a soft reset after the Carrier cab.)

Also, the link in my signature now goes to the Build 21159 Beta 4 download. It is pretty stable for me, but others are reporting freezes. This version does not include Arcsoft. Sprint users are still having to install the VZW Arcsoft cab, and then having to follow up by manually correcting their Registry and settings. Hope this helps.

Anyone got a fix for this yet?? i've tried replacing htmlnote, tmail, and pimutil all same results

I'm guessing it's an issue with the MUI files?

I will play more with this this weekend. take an in depth look at all the files. I know it is something stupid. something simple we are missing. I will find it and reuplaod.

Do you guys notice in 21169 that the Settings menu has 3 folder shortcuts now. They are entitled "elm-06", "elm-07" and "elm-08". They should probably say instead "Personal", "System" and "Connections" respectively.
