BTW, if you want to fix this on the current RUNNING rom, remove the "Redirect" from the registry at this location: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Input]

If you want to FIX the common you already have so you don't have to re-download, remove any "Redirect"="" from the 1f1aca24-d942-464a-9281-10567741499c.rgu file in the Shell folder.

FYI to all, I have updated the PPCKitchen files for 21864. There are now legit 21864 DPI's thanks to Alexx~ at XDA.

With 23420,
Is there a reg edit to get the volume controll back into the settings folder?
I adjusted the HKLM\ControllPanel\Volume\Group = 0, and all I got was Sounds and notifacations.
I'm trying to use the nicer icons. I don't care if the only way to adjust the volume is with the path to Settings.
That fancy dropdown isn't worth having when the rest of the time the ugly 5.0 icons are across the top..IMO.
If I use the 96DPI from 23414, that one might do it. Or is what i'm looking for in the Common?

Hey joojoobee,
That 21864_96DPI, had the same Access Denied. Just ran that Un-RAR, change Read only, Change back to unselected read only, re-RAR, Works perfect.
EDIT:
Well it workwd until This:
Access to the path â€˜C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\hIq Inc\PPC-BuildOS\9.05.3.0Temp\temp\dump\welcomhead.96.pngâ€ ™ is denied.
Should I wait for a better 96DPI, or is there more I can learn.?
EDIT:
OK I just checked the set of files. Re downloading... YESSS the new files are great.

Yup, realized I did that about 10 mins after posting. So I quickly posted new ones. Odd thing is, I ran a test build and never got an error, but either way, they are fixed now.

FYI to all, new common is up for 23420. Got a PM from greatguy320. Pointed out that the DRM package was missing. Although things looked good to me, I am updating it anyhow because I am not sure WHAT that could break/effect.

which one has the newest release date 23060 or 23420?
i mean regarding the MS release date

@Joojoobee666 : Have you noticed any change in the new 96 DPI files that you posted for 21864?? I am using 21857 dpi's and rom is running fine. If i use the new ones, what changes i can expect?

Very little. From my initial inspection, nothing has really changed, so 21857 DPI will probably work fine. There are a few newer modules overall, but most of the DPI stuff is the same/unchanged.
