its a newer leak, but an older build. This is also more stable, and being from a carrier is tweaked. IMO the most stable, fast build i have tried yet. Ive used just about every other build too

Do you have the 96DPI files ? I tried to use the 96DPI of other build but won't work.

Looking into this build, I'm sure ANY 218xx DPI's will work fine considering that most of the VGA DPI's are 21801. If it helps, here are the 21820 DPI's I posted for PPCKitchen a while back. http://www.4shared.com/file/11398320...6DPI_0409.html

Also, I'll be posting some PPCKitchen 21828 files in a bit in case anyone was wanting to cook up a 21828 ROM with PPCKitchen, but I gotta run out to the store first. They are ALMOST done, but I'm gonna need a working phone while I'm out so, gonna have to wait till I get back so I can test.

I saw the issue in previous builds of NRGZ roms but I also noticed that there was no default mp3 set to the ringtone
does it persist even after setting a ringtone?

yes I've tried the default ringtone and I've manually set a ringtone and still nothing. All other sounds work fine except for the lack of any ringer

could be a bad module somewhere in your SYS this can cause Misc problems here and there good place to start looking would be the browsing/adobe/widgets/winlive folders

Sorry for the delay, I ended up shopping around for shoes (which is a very arduous process for me since I am quite picky](*,)), then the SYS had all the modules recmodded in the folders. That took a while to clean up to. Anyhow, PPCKitchen 21828 files for anyone who wants em. Compime.dll is from 21731 (just in case), everything else is the same as usual.

The Herman XIP is the only one tested, but the Titan, Kaiser, Vogue, Apache and Victor all look good.

Make sure the dlls in browsingie is files not modules. Doing that fixed me a ringtone issue one time.

Use dot Fred Task Manager (http://www.dotfred.net/). The registry editor included with that program is kick arse. It automatically exports to .reg and can import .reg as well.

I've attached the OEM I use for my ervius based kitchen.

So far, it seems about as stable as the 21820 was (which I thought was the best 218xx build). But as far as memory leaks go, I haven't run it long enough without rebooting/reflashing for one reason or another to get an accurate feel.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Wow, so far 21828 is a POS for me (Titan). Always frezing up for a few seconds (gets worse the more I use it), volume is 1/2 off the screen, Did the reg hack to make the battery link with the control panel version, and it shows the clock, click it then it shows the battery. Didn't install anything besides my standard apps that I install on all builds. Very Painful so far.

I guess I'll try to build a new rom a little later but, ugh so far a mess. Anyone else seeing these issues ?

Downloaded SYS_21828_96DPI_0409.rar and did the normal still (used the titan XIP, etc). Same thing I always do on a new posted build.

Hmmm, maybe you can try another DPI set. Maybe the 96DPI from 23003 will work? No promises but if you have a few minutes, give em a go and let us know.

Have you perform step 1? try to unpack and repack to see it work. Before doing that don't forget to clean all.

It seems that exceeds the rom size. I don't know exactly how much maximum size. Try to remove that is not necessary. BTW what package you add to the OEM? I never touch the OEM.

Very boring, one week is no new build leak.

I'm adding a task manager and a few games. I'm adding an NET_CF_All Package to the SYS. I get "The filename or extension is too long"
