I am putting together my PPCKitchen files right now, after I test, I will post.

It's funny how this thread just lights up when a new SYS leaks. Thanks Da_G!:headbang:

heck yes, cuz i am definitely waiting for that to drop n test out haha

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Ok, here's some ready to go PPCKitchen files. You may need to remove the dnsapi.dll module from the SYS_21725_Common\OS folder if you get en error. The WinCENLS_WWE is in the DPI files. I just built a good CDMA Touch Pro ROM with these, so the 192DPI is tested good, the 96DPI has NOT been tested on a ROM, but I built a Titan without errors.

SYS_21725_Common
http://www.4shared.com/file/108170..../SYS_21725_Common.html

SYS_21725_192DPI_0409

http://www.4shared.com/file/1081.../SYS_21725_192DPI_0409.html

SYS_21725_96DPI_0409
http://www.4shared.com/file/1081.../SYS_21725_96DPI_0409.html

Also, Enterprise and IPSEC VPN are options under System in the Kitchen for 192DPI users (the description says it's for 21232 SYS, but it IS actually 21725, just forgot to change), and the Office is not in the SYS (therefor not in the DPI's either)

Update: If you plan on using thr 96DPI in PPCK with the common I posted, verify the rar you downloaded has thw WinCENLS_WWE folder in it. The original link did not (it was only up for like five minutes)

Hi guys, just a heads up, i've uploaded a number of language translations for 21275 over on my thread..

If you guys need any languages I have not posted, please post on my thread and ask, I will post more as requested :) I would just post them all but it's a good bit of work! :P

This may sound like a noob question, but which version of the 21725 sys/rom can I use on my cdma diamond? I've been building roms for myself using calcu's kitchen. Thanks for your help and understanding!

You can use Da_G's sys from his kitchen here or you can use mine here in PPCKitchen. You can use the attatched XIP. It's CDMA.

Does it matter if I use the "common" or the "192 dpi" versions? Thanks again.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

you've gotta use both, someone correct me if i'm wrong but the common files aren't specific to size/lang/etc. you just gotta combine all the files that DaG has separated into one SYS folder to drop in a kitchen like calk's :thumbright:

got another min or 2 on my upload and i'll have the link for you

*edit - here you go CDMA Diamond SYS/ROM folders that are currently running on my phone
http://rapidshare.com/files/237905815/21725SYS_ROM.rar

thanks to con, calk, Da_G, indagroove, dsi & anyone & everyone who's contributed!

if its not too much to ask, can you also upload the wvga (192_dpi_400_800) resolution?

Thanks SOHKis, you're a pal!

no prob man, glad to help fellow community members when i'm able.

only changes i've made since upload were to swap the base_lang_0409_dpi_192_resh_480_resv_640 that's in there w/the one DaG's provided. now entire sys is aku5020 (aside from wincenls_wwe)

it's been running great for me so far

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

is there a way to convert to xip.bin to an OS.nb.payload file?
in caulkin's kitchen it is much different. You dont just drop the xip.bin in

SOHKis 05-27-2009 04:06 PM

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

my link contains the ROM folder (w/os.nb.payload) to drop into calk's kitchen (if you're using a CDMA diamond)

or you can use xipporterex to write the xip_out.bin to the payload

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Grab an older os.nb.payload for your device and use xipporterex to insert it.

Put the os.nb.payload into the os.nb.payload folder, put the xip in the XIP_new_ported folder as xip_out.bin. Hit Start Find Xip offset then hit Write It.

you can also use regular xipport.exe to do it, almost the same. Just change the nk.nb to os.nb.payload and change the 00310000 to the proper offset. XipPorterEx just makes it easier if you don't know the offset.

To anyone who used the all res, all dpi pack I posted earlier..

Did it contain any .dll or .exe?

I notice that these are all beginning with MNGE header, rather than MZ as is typical with a PE Executable - and i'm not able to edit them with any of my typical tools. Do they work ok on the device?

SOHKis 05-27-2009 04:35 PM

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

haven't had a chance to flash them, they're on my laptop but i'm busy here @ work.

i'll report back w/my findings as soon as i get a chance (& if someone else hasn't already)

*.dll's do contain the MNGE header as stated... still haven't had time to flash yet

Can someone confirm the ALARM window?

Seems to be completely dead

You can't click the bell to set an alert, u can name the alarm and press OK, but when u go back into it, it's back to default?

I have noticed references to different kitchens in this forum. I have only used ppck so far. What kitchens work with cooking roms for the Titan? Is there a preferred one?

Thanks,

dan's xips are the only ones that ever work for me on the titan. Dan had posted to use XIPKitchen, and it looks prety easy, but I never can get a booting rom (no splash screen). Which is which in XIPKitchen (Device XIP and Donor XIP)?

that's just a patch that speeds things up, basically patches out 5 lines of code and makes it one, www.nuerom.com for no2chems blog on it

So...for me 21725 xip is working great - fast more storage everything is awesome...

But the SYS..I dont know whats wrong with, all my programs start and can work with. But Explorer, Registry Editor and TotalCommander have some strange problems..
For example with RegEdit - its possible to click open the HKLM tree and its possible to scroll down and up, the left and right softkeys are also working fine...but its not possible to enlarge the submenu???!?!?! only the first click in the regisry works...but its not freezed or anything like that.

The same is in explorer and commander...

thx for any help

it is, the last 2 he has posted from previous builds dont boot. nuekernel for the titan is to blame i think

Ok, well, here's a new one I made. I verified that everything lined up with the 21234 that you made. I also removed cachefilt.dll so it's a DEAD ON MATCH as far as allocation. The only thing that is different is the ulCopyOffset: in the ROMHDR and I'm pretty sure that that is normal.
