So we better stay with 21815 instead of updating to 21900?

I guess we should wait for the opinion of Da_G and other senior guys before touching it :o

Yea 21815 is alot newer then the 21900 build, so there is no reason in changing to a older platform

I have an issue, when I build my image with 21815, the battery meeter shows up on the top but, when I click it, it does not open the battery window in the control panel like it should.

Does anyone know how to "link" them so when I click it, it will open the full battery setting from the CP ?

there is no gap between a and r , TaskBar as it seems to show when posted

in your WM6.5_96DPI_QVGA_21815_0409.txt the build ID is wrong. It should like below. Happens all the time. Makes it so the XIP doesn't get injected.

GroupConfigVersion=.90.01
BuildID=WM6.5_21815
CheckForFeature=QVGA
ModuleDir=[KitchenPath]SYS_21815_Common[Archive]
ModuleDir=[KitchenPath]SYS_21815_96DPI_0409[Archive]

You want it the same as the below line in your Titan_WM6.5_21815.txt

XipFilename=Titan,WM6.5_21815,Titan_21815.bin

Try replacing the bluetooth and bluetooth_0409 folders from some other build. Although have a different phone, the case was same. If you can see the Windows Mobile splash, then your xip is good. I ported my xip 5 times but that didn't helped. But then i changed these folders because on my phone i dont get Activesync bluetooth connection if i use these folders from 21801 (all the recent 218xx builds come with these folders from 21801). But this also solved my booting problem. Try it, it may help.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Thanks guys. It was just me being stupid.

I couldn't get to the Windows Mobile splash screen. That's why i thought it was the xip file. Well, it was the xip file, just not the right one in the build base file.

Just because it's an older aku version, doesn't mean it's fake. Not worth using though, since 21815 is newer.

Ok, I'm at my wits end here and I cant find the answer through google or here or xda.

My storage card has been just randomly losinga bunch of files and folders. Its happened three times on different builds. The memory still shows only 1 gig free on an 8 gig storage card so I think the files are still there. Are the file headers just corrupt? what is the root cause of the problem?Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Is there a way to recover the files? One time before I was able to get them to show up again by copying empty folders of the exact same name but now that doesnt work.

Hey Nikki, try using your sd card in a card reader to your pc...see if you can see the files that way....if not there is a post about recovering info from your sd card...also, do you have the files encrypted on the sd or no?

Feedback @ Da_G:

Quick line to let ya know ALL WORKING OK on Kovsky (no grayed backgrounds...) with the original 21815 WVGA folders you shared a couple of days ago

Definitively worth using the STOCK folders and themes you provided (not a workaround but the official way)

THUMBS UP !!
BIG BIG THANKS Da_G FOR SHARING !!

I have tried both an sd reader and usb reader-No go

Encryption- I have never set encryption on my card or any file going to or from my sd. Unless.... I did use one rom that used sdAutorun? I never removed that folder. That would be dirty if it was encrypted. I have very little need for encryption.

post about recovering sd-Was that in this thread cuz I couldnt find it? Do you have a link?

Edit: I found all THESE posts about the problem but does anyone no what can be causing it? Need the root for prevention.

What did you use as the donor XIP? If you used the files from say Da_G's kitchen it won't work since XIPport is looking for the text files that correspond to each module (not the imageinfo.txt inside the module). That's one reason. Another is that there or overlaps with o32_realaddr of the modules (the first section of the XIP map.txt). XIPport does not like overlaps here.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

I am hoping someone here can give me a little help. I am currently using the newest version of the Ervius Visual Kitchen and have been trying for days to produce a working ROM.

I dumped the original t-mobile .nbh file to get the correct structure for the kitchen. I have inserted the SYS files in the correct folders. Followed the directions as to how to input the xip in the ROM folder. Spent the time to convert all of my packages from the old way to the new format needed for the kitchen. Selected the correct device, language, SYS, XIP, dpi, resh from the drop down menus.

Everytime i build the ROM it says everything was built successfully, but the ROM gets stuck at the Windows Splash Screen. It beeps like normal, but then nothing it is stuck. The "tap here to setup device" never shows up and it tries to load the ROM but it is stuck ie the taskbar shows up but the device is unresponsive to screen taps or the hardware buttons.

I am cooking for a t-mobile wing. I have built many ROMs with an older kitchen, but I like the look and feel of the new visual kitchen. I am hoping someone here could point me in the right direction as to how to go about fixing my issues.
