Anyhow, thanks for the info though. I guess there is no reason for me to continue throwing ROMs at my phone if it is a lost cause.... Update: FYI the dsi76 reg tweaks embedded in the tsk work fine. *shakes fist at microsoft* |

@joojoobee666:
Why now, hehe, 6.5.0.1 is done and 6.5.0.2 beginning, OEM's are asking for ability to skin entire OS.. So API changes must be made to expose it :) It will have benefits for us too though, we're OEM's :) Hey, 200+ dls on the 0409 DPI files, anyone try them yet? do they work fine? |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Here is Da_G's fixed files for the grey background plague. They have been integrated to the SYS_21815_96DPI_0409 Sorted out the QVGA, and RAR'd up, ready for the PPCKitchen. I have not tested these yet but should work fine. If they work make sure to say thanks (to Da_G) I am just a master of ctrl c + ctrl v. If they do not work for you please let me know and I will try to fix them when I wake up.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Change? I didn't change anything... but they have been converted from MNGE to Module, so the modules may or may not work depending on if the converter worked :)

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
krazy_about_technology:
Your errors are indicative of mxip_*.provxml's not being properly executed ; This itself is generally indicative of a low level build problem - like using an old XIP with a new SYS, for example. I have run into that specific problem with the Ervius VK, once before, when XIP was not being properly inserted to os.nb.payload - so ROM was a new \SYS paired with an old \XIP |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Guys,
I know someone else had a similar issue before but I didn't see it being a wide problem, or see a fix. When the alarm sounds it ALSO plays the reminder sound as though the alarm was a normal event. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance. |
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

Anyhow, an FYI to all. I updated the PPCKitchen DPI files to correct the grey color issues here ->http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...postcount=5067 If anyone tries the newer files, let me know if the issue is resolved. If they are not, I will not be able to get them updated until tomorrow cuz I got lots of beers waiting for me at the club tonight. :occasion5: |

URtheMan! :headbang: Worked perfectly w/Calk's kitchen and the 21815 build I upled yesterday. It did obliterate his GlossBlack theme I really liked, but for now I can deal as I like having "white" panels back ;) Calk or anyone else: do you have a cab for your GlossBlack theme that works with Da_G's update? Thanks again for all you do for this community! Da_G Fixed 21815 build: http://www.mediafire.com/file/yyw0nj...Da_G.Fixed.rar |

For those who like the glossy theme with white panels. This is what I did for the fix for the 5.2.21815 build.
I used UI Tweaker (Attached Below) and ran it. I launched SysColor Changer from the program and Selected Dialog Box and Static Control Colors. I changed it to white. (Make sure all R G B sliders are set to 255) I then applied it and soft reset. No more gray in the pop up text and icon areas, and my buttons are grey. **********Update********** Do the above but also go to Window Background Color and change it to white.(Make sure all R G B sliders are set to 255) This is also located under the SysColor Changer tab. Apply and soft reset. Bam, you are set. I have also attached normal white background color.sys to import via uitweaker. Simply copy the Normal white background to you sd card or wherever. Then install uitweaker and then launch it, go to SysColor Changer and select launch. Now select tools and import. You will see the file. Import it and close the app. It will ask to soft boot. After that you are set. Cheers, Mikee |
