use .rom from any other sys, I usually have to use older ones to get booting roms, probably due to not having a true 6.5 oemxipkernel

Thanks bro!!! I didn't know you could do that? Any time I tried in the past it did not work.... I think I have most of all the builds any in particular? Also will I have you here, I have an xip for this new sys and am going to port it for the titan and when I do will the donor xip still keep the nuekernal tweak? Or do you have to do some specail hex editing to retain it.

Did you make sure the IE is showing the correct image in the toolbar? For QVGA you need new DPI_96 for Internet Explorer in 217xx builds.

If it's not showing properly then use the following attachment.

any use a .rom from any working 6.5 build you've used already, and nuekernel xip's have to be hex edited every time you port them, I posted the required bits several pages back

Would you mind UL an xip for 21731 for the titan? I will learn how to do it at some point:) But If you could that would be great!

Here's the 21728 and 21731 XIP, but I couldn't get the ported 21731 to boot on my touch pro. I am currently on 21728 XIP. The 21728 Titan is good, and the 21731 was made the same way.

I couldn't get my data connection working properly with the 21728 XIP and the 21731 XIP, you? And WTF? There must be something funky with that XIP...I'm going to dump it and look it over.

Hmm....can't do a make packages with it....

I'll see if I can manually fix this up and repost. I won't have time to test, but If you could test and let me know :D

I guess DDI.dll is supposed to be there. I was thinking of the Titan XIP. Still looking.

Found it.

So how do we fix THAT overlap? That's not in any guide.... I'll see if i can figure it out.

This has issues with text prediction in the input methods, as far as I understand. So I guess we should ignore it for now?

I don't seem to be having any issues on my Nike - maybe it's down to the ezinput package/et9/xt9 etc. in use.

What build is 21806 branched off of?

BTW how do you guys print out the report with all the packages and build numbers? I can view it with HtcRIE but cannot export it to text. ??

I'm going to pass on it. I can't bring myself to port two different builds back to back. That and the 7xx series has been excellent.

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

I think we should stick to one stable build and leave it at that ;) 21234 is at RTM, so that's probably the right one to stick to until there is a build worth changing to.

I know this was covered some where before but I have an MSXIPKernel from a new build and want to port it to my vogue. I found a tut on how to do it but its kinda long and drawn out. Is there a tool that would be more automated to use? Or do I just have to do manualy?

Hello,

Has anyone facing/faced problem with smartskey( Press and hold sk ) in build 217XX or 218XX?

The problem is, the startnenu don't opens once opened by softkeys ( Press and hold ). Either by touch screen or win flag in hardware keyboard or etc until softreboot.

Any idea why does this happening? I haven't faced this issue in earlier builds ( 212XX or 215XX ). :(

Please help...

Best Regards

hmm, I have ported 21806 few hours back and its working great! I have also bunchmarked between 21731 and 21806 and found better results on 21806 so it will be my next beta release, to public :D

Try the above posted 21806 MSXIPKernel.

I ported that xip.bin from the Omnia fine to my Nike using xipkitchen.

Have you tried a different .ROM folder from an earlier working build?
