Do you mean G'reloc.exe (8 kb) and G'reloc-orig.exe (437 kb) and WMReloc.exe (103 kb) all together? I copy this and try to run it manuall by double click at G'reloc.exe (8 kb) but it does not run. Do I miss anything?

It said this application has fail to start....

Here are my steps.

+ use Calkulin kitchen from Diamond Forum (or from first page here)
+ replace g'reloc.exe with forwarder and WMReloc.exe from WM6.5 TP kitchen.
+ drop in XIP for Diamond from first page (or have tried one provided by SOHKis)
+ drop in SYS from latest WM6.5 TP Kitchen
+ Cook ROM

Everything seems to go OK, but can't get past first boot screen. I'll keep trying things out.

+1

ROM builds fine, but after flashing it will not get past the boot screen. Running latest SYS, XIP, WMReloc, etc..

no such luck :( What about the boot.rgu file under the XIP folder? Is there anything special that needs to be done there for WM 6.5? Of course I've tried SOHKis's ROM directory that included that file, and have used Conflipper's XIP files with the boot.rgu that was part of the kitchen, but I'm running out of ideas here. Thanks.

Also, is there a limit to the size of your ROM (.nbh file)? I'm building for the Diamond.

one more thing. I notice these types of lines in the log file under 'temp'.

package "WinCENLS_WWE" does not contain .rgu file "3346da5d-3675-4a67-925e-75f623184bda.rgu"
package "PhoneRedist_Lang_0409_DPI_192" does not contain .rgu file "37d983b9-32ef-4b74-ad2d-4bf227434aca.rgu"

package "Office_DPI_192" does not contain .rgu file "3dca3381-3564-4380-8f56-05ccbe08d080.rgu"

There are several similar warnings. This is expected and to be ignored?

Thanks I'll try it now. Any chance you've tried your ROM folder with the SYS that Conflipper just posted? It's the same SYS from the WM6.5 Touch Pro Kitchen on xda. I still can't for the life of me get a booting ROM!!! ](*,)

Same here. I'm wondering if this could be a Radio issue, etc. Some have reported success building from the same source, but I cannot get any 6.5 image to go beyond the boot screen. ](*,)

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition

In reference to the BETA 3 SYS files Con put out this morning, I am getting a G'reloc Integer overflow error. Here are the stats:
Slot 0: 01F80000
Slot 1: 03D70000
Size of rom: 83400000
Unknown: 00000000
Now am I wrong in asking if the rom size is too big? I am building the exact same way as I did with the Beta 2 SYS files, ie. same kitchen, OEM files and of course Con's XIP. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Go back a page or two and read. You will need to update the G'Reloc.exe and WMReloc.exe.

Good point. What radio are you using? I'm using the VZW v1.03.03v radio which has been the best for me in regards to reception and battery drain.

SOHKis, what radio are you using on your Sprint Diamond? Thanks!

I'm running radio 1.11.00F

I am using the Alltel 1.03.13F radio. Mine would take 3 minutes to change from the Black screen with version info written on the bottom to the next screen. It seemed like forever.

you need a small g'reloc.exe (which essentially forwards requests to it to another program called wmreloc.exe) and wmreloc.exe from that Raphael Kitchen's Tools folder. Copy them both into the root directory of your Diamond kitchen and into the Tools folder, just to be safe. It should overwrite your existing g'reloc.exe.

unfortunately, these will not work with ppckitchen, it forwards wmreloc to tools/temp/dump, even if you change the outputdir to tools it uses tools/temp/temp/dump, so for ppckitchen, your only option is to convert a pile of modules to files, I usually just convert the browsingcore and browsingie modules to files as directed by conflipper, works like a charm. The tool you will need is called recmod.exe, just drag the module folder over, it will reconstruct the file and put it in the folder, then copy it out of the folder to a temp folder, delete the origional module folder, then move the file back in to replace it

I have a sneaking suspicion that this whole greloc/wmreloc thing is not working when building a ROM in the setup I have. I am going to try and go back to the original greloc. This will require that I convert some modules as you have suggested.

But when I try I get this sort of error.

> recmod.exe browsingie
Error! Cannot map browsingie\imageinfo.bin

EDIT: Nevermind, I need to do it for all of the .dll module directories and not just the folder containing all of the .dll modules (such as browsingie)

YES!! That did it. I am uploading new versions of BROWSINGCORE and browsingie (will notify when finished). Just replace these in the latest SYS and you should be able to build a ROM by using the original version of G'Reloc. Do not use WMreloc.

Thanks for your suggestion. I did that, and original G'reloc is now working as normal. However, new rom does not pass the boot screen
