Okay I built it on Win7 using the updated version in VisualKitchen. This gives me a nice and sloppy XIP folder but it still gives me a booting ROM. Here you go.

Hi guys,
Thanks to lingk over at xda-developers, this is how you can make the "All Photos" soft key in the Pictures tab to open HTC Album at the camera shots folder: Code:
hklm\software\microsoft\shell\rai\:MSPIMG\1 = htcalbum.exe -type:camerashotHowever, the problem with assigning :MSPIMG to htcalbum.exe is that the Pictures & Videos shortcut also starts HTC Album instead of the default Windows image viewer. To fix this, simply unzip the attachment below to replace the pimg.lnk in your SYS. |
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
In Polaris ROM, build 2172X the video play on the Album doesn't work. Just black screen. Any solutions ?

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Dumb question with out looking over all 450+ pages here, Installed 21728 on the titan, it has the honeycomb look and small icons when you hit the start menu, anyway to get these back the larger icons and get rid of the honeycomb look ?
It's much more finger frendly with the larger icons.. |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Hey guys, i am using 21728 on my Gene (P3400i) and to tell you, this build is quiet promising. The overall performance has increased and the RAM leak problem with GWES.exe is quiet minimized. On my phone in previous builds, it use to start at 6 MB and then go to 9-10 MB or so. The available ram was use to be 8-11 MB only.
But in this build GWES is stable at around 6 MB and the free ram remains about 19.89 - 20 MB, initially its 23 MB with a 4 MB page pool. I think the problem has been given a thought finally. IE is also faster and the animations of toolbar buttons fading away and coming up is smooth as butter in this build. Only one problem i got, as with all previous sys, the activesync bluetooth connection disappears and i have to use the bluetooth and bluetooth_lang_0409 folder from some old build. But its quiet good :) |

Adrynalyne was nice enough to post a kitchen in the Omnia forum that has all you will need and is updated to 21728. If you have any questions feel free to post over there and we will provide all the help we can. :) |

Oh, and I also noticed they don't have the Task Manager on the home screen's top right corner, but that's because it is by HTC, not Microsoft ;) |

rename bin to os.bin
run attached file from xbeta |
Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Quote:
- Rename the image to A.BIN (to make the next commands easier to type). - Open a D.O.S. command window and perform these commands: > NBSPLIT -emu A.BIN (it generates two files: A.BIN.EXTRA and A.BIN.PAYLOAD) > IMGFSFROMNB A.BIN.PAYLOAD IMGFS.BIN (it generates the file IMGFS.BIN) > IMGFSTODUMP IMGFS.BIN And that's all. Files are dumped in /Dump directory |

Of course it can work with a ported XIP. Most probably you will need also to use .VM and .ROM from a previous working build of Titan. |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
hey guys, so if 21234 was the RTM build, can anybody confirm around what build is this 21728 based on, is it older than 21234 or what? And based on previous experience, can anybody tell me how was the memory performance of 21234, was GWES eating memory in that too, coz in 21728, it has become a lot more stable and shows very little memory leaks.
I haven't built a ROM on 21234 but i am thinking of, if its fruitful. Please help me out guys :o |

Re: WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition
Can anyone (Anryl) point me to the right file set to use with ppckitchen, 21728 for kaiser? The last post for kaiser i've seen in this thread was for 212xx. I realize most gsm's are over at xda but I'm so partial to the ppckitchen, I've been using it so long. I'm currently running 21501 which runs smooth but i know I hosed something cuz opera wont even install from cab. 21198 built with ppck didnt give me any trouble except some unbearable screen freezes

Are you planning to update this ROM with 21728? I really like all the software you included and hope to see an updated version in the near future. Keep up the good work! |
