For anybody not already subscribed to our blog, here are some videos that give you a taste of what you can do with Kinoma Play:Also, I posted 101 Kinoma Play features and tips today.

As someone pointed out, you can get it for free by checking out with TrialPay. Or, just download Kinoma FreePlay.

$30.00 isn't *THAT* bad a price, except that I have paid $75 for media pprograms already for my phone, but I guess thats my problem

One question for your 101 list: you state Kinoma Play is the world’s second streaming podcast player (we made the first one, too).

Where does Pocketplayer fit into this? I am streaming a podcast as I type this, and am relatively confident that it beat Kinoma Play to market

Ill buy if you add XM support

Other apps do "play while download", and I have a blog post that talks about some of the differences.

I, personally, think it's a completely rip-off considering your customer service is some of the worst I have ever experienced. I have a better chance of getting a response out of you here than to get a comment to post succesfully on your forums since you filter them.

Any company that does not post a decent changelog with their new versions has garbage support, IMO.

Post a changelog, Charles.

Kinoma has a reputation for great support -- our team almost always responds within 24 hours, and is very good about solving problems -- and I'm sorry you had a bad experience.

Just email the case ID you were assigned by our support team to me at charles@ our domain, and I'll be glad to escalate.

Just for spam and pointless "+1" posts. All you have to do is skim forum.kinoma.com to confirm that we don't moderate posts just because they're critical.

Every release gets its own blog post that describes all changes of note. Can you be more specific?

this has been my experience with Kinoma. I have had a few issues, and kinoma support was very quick to reply and fix the problem.

When I download the cab from your website, I have no idea what version I'm installing until I install it, activate it, and check the about screen.

1. package your cabs in a a zip file labeled with the version number so I know what version I'm downloading.

2. in the same zip file, include a txt file with the complete version history.

There is a billion software companies that do this, there's no reason you can't as well. Get organized.

Re: Kinoma media player

ok played around with the free version and am slightly impressed. a little pissed that this f'ing program took away some of my program defaults... kind of feel raped in that department. it should have at least asked... otherwise the free one is only good for youtube and a couple of other vids/audio. if you want full access bend over and grab your ankles... $30 way to steep.
