Re: ****UPDATED**** C-ApiSRO - XM & Sirius Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

I'm SUPER excited about this app - looks very cool. I got the channels to load once but the stations would not play. I closed it and restarted and the channels wouldnt load. I unistalled/reinstalled and the channels still wont load. Any thoughts? Have the mogul running 6.1. Thanks in advance!!!

XM or Sirius? Did you reset your phone? I have a handful of users experiencing similar issues. I just haven't found the common item that is causing these issues.

Yes, i power cycled the phone (a couple of times) after the install. Also closed down all other running apps that I could. The only time the channels did load, i was connected via active sync (i didnt sync, but was connected in order to move the cab). Could have thave anything to do with it? using xm

Re: ****UPDATED**** C-ApiSRO - XM & Sirius Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

ok - this is odd. i uninstalled and reinstalled again. now i've been able to pull the channel list up twice. I can see the channels but if i click one and then click play, it scrolls through some text real fast ( i think it said something about not autorized) and then it just reloads the channels. Although i can see the channels again, it says "Unable to load channel...") right above channel 2-xmx. Thoughs??

That scrolling of text probably means you are getting disconnected for some odd reason from XM and C-ApiSRO is attempting to log you back in.
Do me a favor and go to XM Radios website and log into their client application. Verify that your account is working correctly straight from the source.

XM Radio: http://xmro.xmradio.com/xstream/index.jsp

You can also create a 3 day temporary account and give that a try. I've heard of some users having difficulties with their accounts while XM is making all of their changes. It's worth a try.

Something tells me that your problem either exists with your subscription or your network settings on your phone. C-ApiSRO is just not smart enough to determine which it is and report back a valid error message. Maybe I should get to work on that.

Still not getting the channel list to load.

I have tried multiple resets, and re-installations. I have also tried my regular XM online account, and it works there. Not sure exactly what is going on, it says that I have connected successfully? Oh yeah, I have also tried with a wifi connection.

What's going on here? Now the XM playlist isn't loading for me? Are we in some kind URL war with the XM Online folks? I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling but sheesh, this is kinda annoying.

This happened to me last night as well. Then about an hour later I was able to connect again. I'm not sure where the problem lives right now. It's quite possible XM is having issues that C-ApiSRO isn't handling too well.
As of 10:38AM (EST) I was able to connect to XM & Sirius using my Mogul on a Sprint network with 1 bar of service.

Yeah you're right, I just tried and it's working again... False alarm, at least on my end. Thanks again for the work you've put into the application. I'm more than happy to be the 100th person to "thank" you.
