Thank you, I will take a look at the log after work today. I may need to build a special version for debugging purposes. I assume I can get you to test it for me. Is this a good assumption?

Do you see a different captcha image everytime it fails, or is it always the same one?

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

So to surmise the issues so far
  • Captcha incorrect on every attempt
  • All reported users are on Alltel
  • Titan & Touch Pro Devices
  • Individuals can use Skyfire or have used SiriusWM5 and captcha worked
  • Version used is 2.0.4
Is anyone NOT on Alltel having this issue?
Are any devices other than Titan or Touch Pro affected?

I fired up my SiriusWM5 today, and everything, including CAPTCHA worked just fine.

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

Just got off the phone with Sirius. I was told I should be getting near CD-quality for my lifetime and my 3-yr that was just renewed. I told him I wasn't getting it and he went in and he said he had to reprovision the account and I should be getting it soon.

Maybe I'll be joining you guys with the C-apiSRO problem. He said to give it an hour or so.

Sorry, yellowone, but Sirius WM5 does NOT work on my phone. I get "Connection failed" after entering the CAPTCHA text.

What about on Skyfire?
I get connection failed now too but that I believe is just since the app was discontinued. It happened before today. I didn't want to by Starplayr and only did it because SiriusWM5 stopped working.

Downloaded and installed Skyfire. Can connect and listen thorugh that. They brag about it being a small app. But that little hint about having an UNLIMITED data plan is the kicker.

A lot of futzing around and no artist or song information and forget doing anything else while it's running.

But I guess it beats nothing at all...

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

Well, I got the 128K stream working alright. Went in to double check my account and they had charged me for it. I called back and they said it should be free. After being on hold for a while (and thinking maybe they should be playing circus music on hold), CSR came back and said no freebies for the Premium stream. I told him I thought they were going to 1 stream only and he said he thought the same thing but he just learned that they'll still have 2.

Wish I could help you guys out on your C-apiSRO issue. Mine is running fine on HTC Touch/Sprint.

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

Okay this sucks, I too am getting the same capcha error on my Touch Pro and my Vogue both on Alltel. But it works fine on the site. This sucks so bad, I am going thru Howard withdrawal already.

Does anyone know if the uSirius desktop app still works? I saw a tutorial about how to stream with orb using uSirius on the desktop, but its no longer available for download.

I'm gonna see if it works on WiFi real quick. These corporate suits are so stupid, DONT THEY REALIZE THAT USING INTERNET EXPLORER OR FIREFOX TO STREAM IS USING A THIRD PARTY APP, there is no difference here, it just allows us to connect, using our Sirius credentials.

Cant we petition, call and aggravate and write letters or come up with some other forms of civil disobedience and make them feel our pain?

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

Okay, just tried with WiFi and Activesync, SiriusWM5 worked fine with both, C-apiSRO was still a no-go for either connection, giving the same captcha error. Now if I could figure out why SiriusWM5 doesn't work with Alltel EVDO, this reminds me of Palringo
