Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

According to an email I received from Sirius, after 3/10 new subscriptions and subscription renewals will no longer be eligible for free internet radio.
It will now cost 2.99/month per subscription.

Subscriptions are increasing in price, as well.

Ah monopolies! Dontcha just love 'em?

Hey R-Capi! Question... according to the below... will C-ApiSRO automatically update to CD quality, or do you think you'll be updating something? I'll keep my eyes on this...
THANKS!

On March 11, 2009, we will upgrade the online listening experience to near CD-quality digital audio.

I will not be able to answer this since I do not know how they plan on implementing it. What I will tell you is that when they release CD Quality I will take a look at it and do what I can to support it. However, I will not pay for CD quality so testing could pose a problem since I won't have that feature.

We will have to wait until 3/11.

R-Capi, i'm not sure what changed with your app, but since moving to your latest version, i keep dropping connection, or something.

suddenly while listening, the stream will suddenly go, "we're sorry the channel you have selected ...blah blah blah, please logout and try again..."

no delay, no buffering. the voice just interrupts the song and that's it.

sometimes it lets me select the channel and play again, most of the time it crashes.

Re: C-ApiSRO - Sirius/XM Satellite Radio for PocketPC (PPC)

Has anyone had issues listening to Sirius lately, mine was working yesterday but nothing today, keeps saying trying to find song info.

Edit: Nevermind, figured out the problem. Thanks.

I originally started with C-ApiSRO and the free online sirius and didn't like the quality. I then upgraded to CD quality and am quite happy. Your app works with a CD quality subscription. Thanks for the app. As it turns out, with my lifetime subscription, I get CD qualitiy online access for free anyway.

I've had some problems with the app just stopping and I'll have to restart the channel. I've found if I disable the proxy server for song info that the app perfroms better. Try this if you are experiencing the app just stopping.
