Re: SMS-Chat by Vito Technologies Threaded SMS

No luck for me. The setting keeps on changing back to it's default, and I get no notifications at all.

Plus with sms-chat installed I never get text messages from a email address. It is too bad, I love the interface.

I will check when the next version comes out and see if it is more stable on my phone. Until then I am back to the Palm threaded SMS.

Re: SMS-Chat by Vito Technologies Threaded SMS

It appears that if you exit out of the application then restart it, the option becomes unchecked. So just remember to recheck it if you close the app or soft reset your PPC. Works like a charm now!!!

I don't mind doing this until it is fixed/addressed when the new version comes out.

Re: SMS-Chat by Vito Technologies Threaded SMS

That sounds a little ridiculous. That should be fixed.

Re: SMS-Chat by Vito Technologies Threaded SMS

i have a suggestion, Dont move the text into a sms chat folder, keep them and the sent ones in the default in boxes so that other programs used dependent on the count from those boxes (s2u new text icon, text count on my home screen) stay true. It annoys me to see a 0 new text count, and then i open up the program and i missed 15 texts. other than that the app is great and stable for me, keep up the good work

Re: need help setting vito sms has default

That's an issue with the program, it cannot be done because that shortcut/counter works with the Inbox of POutlook and SMS-Chat creates new sub-folders

Re: SMS-Chat by Vito Technologies Threaded SMS

Ok I'm a bit lost as to what you mean. Could you elaborate some more?

Normally, the message comes in (large envelope in the centre of the screen) and your two options are to either reply or dismiss. Failing that, you open up the app, find the name of the person (or look for the existing chat with that person), click on it, and ur ready to fire up your reply.
