Ive had this with cht 3 times now and just use this cab. I still love the mod so much it hasn't completely pushed me over yet.

If you'd like to fix without installing a cab it can be done via the registry change all the following values to "0".
HKCU/system/state/messages/MMS/unread HKCU/system/state/messages/SMS/unread HKCU/system/state/messages/TotalEmail/unread HKCU/system/state/messages/VMail/total/unread Last edited by lnando84; 05-22-2010 at 01:27 PM.

Hi guys. I've recently encountered this problem except it'll show -1 on my CHT notification bar. Tried all the cabs and reg edits except for the mms one. Gonna try it now and see if that helps. Update: I fixed it! Just went through all the sub-folders in messages and made sure all the entries in their unread folder was at 0.

Fixunreadcount.exe never worked for me. Resetunreadcount.cab fixed my problem
